Lumella

We chose to stay here for 1st leg of our honeymoon road trip. What a delight as you pull up on top of the hill with sprawling hills filled with trees and wildlife. Inside is amazing, great size kitchen for homestyle cooking if you choose with a array of goodies to use. The house is light and bright with massive windows looking out everywhere. The massive bath and even better shower. Then you hit the lounge area to comfy couch or to floor cushions to a cozy bean bag where you can grab a beverage and just watch the world go by and the wind turbines in the distance spin as the fire goes or the aircon depending on the weather. Stepping through to the bedroom through a massive barn door you are created by a massive comfy bed and of course another huge window looking over the fire pit and into the hills and farms. Their is a massive cozy deck of the lounge sit and watch the sunset off with a new. This place is superb from the simple yet elegant styling. Everything has a purpose with out being to over the top and taking away from what is the main thing... that view...

Brilliant cozy place in a stunning location.It has everything you could need for a well earned getaway. My partner and I go away for a weekend to Daylesford every year and have now stayed at Lumella twice. Just a wonderful villa and will be back again soon.

We loved the place so much. All the facilities provided are top-notch and the view outside was spectacular!. We'd love to visit again sometime soon!..This is also an awesome place for star-gazing. There's zero-light polution around the property, so, on a clear-sky day, no doubt you're in for a treat!. You can also enjoy the beautiful views of the sky from the bedroom through the window, which makes it look like one stunning painting of the night sky hanging on the wall.All in all, our stay at Lumella was quite enjoyable, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and quiter holiday!

I am head therapist and owner of Daylesford Mobile Massage and we visited Lumella for the first time yesterday for a couples massage. We were very impressed and look forward to visiting again! With stunning views of surrounding countryside, this cleverly designed modern villa is a must if you crave peace and quiet and a chance to rejuvenate and connect with nature.

Isolated heaven on the top of a mountain (well, a hill, really).The location and views are amazing, with views across to the horizon where you can see the Hepburn Wind Farm in the distance. The layout, decor and finish are something to behold. If you like bushwalking, the dedicated trail to Wombat Dam is worth a go, if you can spot the pink ribbons tied to trees along the way. The wildlife in the area is not accustomed to humans, so don't expect the 'roos or birds to enjoy your close company However it's still the perfect escape.
