Kmart Erina

Absolutely DISGRACEFUL. If I could give minus stars for today's visit to your store I would. I never give negative feedback but today's visit to your erina store was horrible to say the least. I have worked in retail and customer service for over 25 years so I have plenty of experience with working with the public and shoplifting. Today my 12 year old daughter went shopping with a few friends in your store. She purchased a $2 bra from the clearance section. She continued to shop with a couple of friends in the store then she rang me to say mum I have dropped the reciept in here and I can't find it. I said it should be fine ring me if there is any issue. As she went to exit the door she told the lady what had happened when asked for her receipt she checked her bag again but couldn't find it. She then rang me again quite distraught and crying as the lady on the door wouldn't let her leave the store and made a huge scene in front of everyone about it humilliating and embarrassing her making out she stole it because she couldn't prove she paid for it. I had to come into the store and like most parents would be rightfully upset over a $2 clearance item that she paid for. When I got to the entrance there were 4 members of staff making a scene especially one inparticular (I have her name) who was rude with attitude who told me she was only doing her job in a arrogant manner. I said to the woman my daughter didn't steal it she paid for it and to go check the cameras. I walked away because I was so upset. I then took my daughter to the register area where another member of staff remembers seeing her and her friend at the self serve check out playing for the item. Maybe training your staff on security and morals might be a good place to start.A you can't detain a personb you can't accuse someone of stealing without proofAnd c not all teenagers are thiefs some of them are brought up properly which this lady and the others on the door should know as they look like mothers themselves. I also came to erina to go to kmart to spend $500 on homewares. I decided after this I would spend my money elsewhere and won't be shopping at your store again. So a $2 bra and attitude from one of your staff just lost your store $500 and future purchases. I don't call that just doing your job.

Great Kmart store lots of specials and great range of sizes. The bike section lacks variety but staff friendly.

I want to highlight the efforts of the service desk staff in the Erina Fair store, they are always helpful, friendly and cheerful, they are the best staff I have ever seen in a department store, special mention to Sharyn and Karen. I enjoy watching them deal with customers as I wait in line, they always serve politely and patiently with a smile on their faces. Steve Campbell

I lost my phone in Kmart today. The lady at the front door was helpful in asking all the departments if anyone had turned in a phone. No one had so directed me back to the layby area to leave my details. This women was also very nice and helpful. Even called Centre Management to see if anyone had tuned a phone in there. But the nicest thing that happened while I was telling the layby lady my plight is a young women was standing near by and offered to call my phone. It rang but we couldn't hear it. She then offered to go with me to where I thought I might have lost it. It was the stuffed toy area. I had already searched high and low. But ringing my phone would make the difference, so off we went. Sure enough when she called my number we could hear it. She scrambled around through stuffed toys. I had showed her two I had taken a photo of before she rang and there was my phone in the bottom of the box the stuffed Care Bear was in. I am so grateful to this very kind person for taking the time to help me. She really has no idea how happy I am to know there are people like her still around. Kind of restores your faith in your fellow man, women, person.

Big thank you to the lovely lady on the refund desk today between 10:30am & 11am. There was a big queue, she was so efficient polite & happy.
