Jake Removals

We used Jake Removals when we moved between rental homes twice, in 2022 and 2023. They have done above and beyond both times. They handle everything with care and are very efficient. We ended up saving about $200 for the whole move in comparison to other services around the area, one of which actually came out to do the quote.

Great that you could fit us in at short notice and the guys were great. They were careful and worked well together. i notice they started the clock timer 10 min before they actually parked the truck and spoke to me about the terms and conditions.

I highly recommend Jake Removals! From the outset, Jake responded to all emails/calls very promptly and was very helpful. On moving day, Andy & Lukey rocked up bang on time and worked very effectively and efficiently throughout the entire move. They were legends. The price is also very good in comparison to other quotes I was receiving. I am a very happy cusomer and will use Jake Removals again in the future.

The team at Jake's Removals were great from start to finish. Very helpful and accommodating when booking. On moving day, 3 guys, Ken, Matthew & Eric arrived on time at 8:00am. They were well equipped, friendly, organised, and efficient and had packed up our 5 bedroom home by 11:15 am. By 2:15 pm all furniture was installed at the new property. Everything was handled with care and precision. We highly recommend Jake's Removals and would not hesitate to use their services again.

Had a previous good experience but this last one left a lot to be desired! Booked for 8.00am at the suggestion of the Removalist - arrived 9.10am after being stuck in traffic.When I booked the job I explained basic household items from mezzanine on one factory to another ground floor area at a factory less than 500 metres away - so very easy.After arriving late before anything was said they noticed the stairs and stated that would cost extra. I explained that I had already mentioned the items were on the mezzanine level of a factory and the reply was - 'he didn't know what that was/meant (as in mezzanine) and his Boss had left it up to this guy at my factory to deal with!! I explained that I should not be charged extra as after arriving late, (I have a business also so my time was wasted) and having been told the furniture was on a mezzanine it would not be wise to charge extra and if he should decide to charge I would not use Jake Removals again. (I had used them once before and they were good).This was not a difficult move and I feel I got ripped off on this occasion and will not recommend or use in the future. Apparenty the job ran 10 minutes into the next hour and after a phone call they decided they would not charge me for that - but had no thought of discount for late arrival and not realising that a mezzanine was another level.Maybe there are new owners but if this is how they think you run a business I wish them luck!

Great experience with Jake Removals. Easy quoting and booking process, good communication prior and during the move, truck was able to manoeuvre around a tricky driveway and the removalists were professional and efficient. Would use Jake Removals again.
