this shop is terrible. it sold a second hand ipone 7 plus (128 G, A) to one of my innocent family member 5 months ago at $565, promising it was a good phone like a new one. can you believe that? with this price I can buy a brand new one at that time from Apple store. along with being overchaged, its battery was out of work after several months, surprisingly the shop refused to fix the problem probably it knew this phone had defect. then I took the phone to another shop for repairing when the phone's cover was opened in order to replace the battery, guess what? a lot of little screws , together with a part (metal shield) were found missing! this second hand phone sold by East Phone Mechanic is totally a rubbish.

$200 for half fixing my Iphone? Then for it to break again? If you want your money, do not go here.

Any repair by law should have warranty of 3 months, this shop is not providing warranty but charge extra for warranty which was supposed to be there for any repairments. GO CHECK OUT THE LAW OF FT Not to mention owner's attitude. My phone was repaired about less than a month ago and screen has issues first thing being woke up. Called the owner, owner cuts my call saying you have no warranty. Quoted owner: You agreed it yourself nobody forced you sign". This shop is such a disgrace. . Totally disgrace!"

I came here last month to repair my phones charging port - which now does not work properly after the repair and I was refused a refund or repair again. This is after waiting 2 hours after the shopkeeper took my phone and did not even look at it whilst he served every other customer. Terrible service and quality.

The turn around is quick. They accepted the phone for a checkup and 20 min after I got a report of damage and repair quote. I was told the phone's front cam module was disconnected which allowed the phone to turn on. But my month old battery was also faulty as it stopped the boot up. Besides the possible mother board damage (owner's guess) and firmware error (owner's guess), I was quoted $150 for battery replacement and screen repair (I suppose this includes the front cam module). It got a bit pricey so I only paid them $35 for the check up.Later I ordered a replacement battery and tool kit. Diagnosed the phone myself. Turned out the battery was totally fine. Only disconnecting the front cam module allowed me to boot up and retrieve the photos. The owner also told me the battery was bad because it was 2018 production which is too old. Yeah right the sticker on it says 2019 Nov. Although they made the correct diagnostics about the camera, they also made the wrong diagnostics about the battery which just plain irresponsible and fraudulent. I could have done the repair myself. Strongly recommend people to avoid them at all cost because of the extortionate rate they charge and fear-mongering tactics to milk their customers.

They got the job done in the end for my cracked screen. However i am very disappointed with their dishonesty . Was told to pay $50 dollars deposit for the screen. With a total quote of $95. They ended up telling me it was $150 total once the job was done . If he had told me it was $150 at the begining i wouldnt get the phone screen repaired as the phone brand new costs only $200.Wont recommend these crooks to any friend of mine. Really brings alot of shame to asians in Australia. Disappointing.

Unscrupulous business, in their shop to change the mobile phone screen, poor quality!! is not bright in a month, it is have 3 months of guarantee period, but they say is artificial damage, refuse to guarantee, liquid crystal burst, because I fall it!! If I want to change it, I have to pay again. But the screen do not have any damage, and I didn't fall at all. At this moment, the cleaner next to me told me that they often argue with customers in this shop, and they often receive letters from fair trading. Later, I found a friend to change the phone screen for me. When he opened it, my friend asked me where I had changed it. The screen was of poor quality, and the edges were not sticky. It's easy to break the internal wires.

Phone repair done well in timely manner. But having to travel twice to shop not cool. First time left phone there 1hour come back both Garry and worker standing in masks don't even look at me. (Customer service 101 you look at customer in eyes when you speak to them) Garry in his mask says it'a a bad a luck come back,we send back supplier. Fair enough when I come back 30mins drive I am customer give me a small discount for the effort I made to come back second half hour drive, don't blame supplier use a different supplier if he sends wrong parts.

Please do not go here. Changed my S10 battery and they replaced with a faulty one which would only charge to 90% max capacity. When I went back to request this to be fixed I came to my phone held together by rubber bands and super glue with worse battery life than before. I suspect they used my old battery again......
