First time dining at Barbuto. We had the t-bone steak and Salmon. The food was great, good service and we didn't had to wait long for the food to be served. We'll definitely come back.

Came with family for my birthday. Oysters as Starter and eye fillet as main. Cocktail and bottle of red. Perfectly cooked eye fillet and impeccable red wine jus. The restaurant was a little hot for us, with poor ventilation. Could expand on dessert menu. Service good. Expect to pay upwards to $100 if you have a cocktail wine and 2 courses. Lovely for special occasion. Would definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere, amazing staff, sadly all of our meals were over salted, my steak was perfectly cooked but so much salt I couldn't eat it. Surely that little part of the meal should be decided by the customer. Not a cheap experience, I thought my meal was the only one ruined, but all four meals suffered the same fate. If you like ridiculous amounts of salt, you will love it.

I ordered fish and chips it’s not good at all. The prawn pasta is good but portion is small. Chicken and steak sandwich is ok.Staff asked about tips which I think not nice!

Been to Barbuto many times and love the vibe and proximity to the beach for that pre or post dinner stroll. Somehow it was extra special this time. I had the barramundi, my date the salmon and we shared the rocket and pear salad. Excellent food coupled with outstanding service. I guess that is why I keep going back.

We chose this place as the food where our family member was staying was very average. My husband and sister in law chose sirloin steak and scotch fillet with baked potatoes and I had the Barramundi. Meat is grass fed. You will have to order extra salad or the like if you want variety. The bill came to about $150. That is with sparkling water only which was great as it was complimentary.It was good food, good service. The ribs looked great and popular as well.

You will not find more perfect slow cooked fall off the bone pork ribs anywhere. Take a look at my photos. Note the chicken, cooked to perfection - juicy and 100x better than KFC. The fries - actually hot and also perfect (that spicey dipping sauce - wow!). Why do so many other restaurants not understand these principles?Service for our party group of 20 was also first class and I can see the staff and owner love what they do. Don’t listen to the tight whinghers about this being over priced, as you know you get what you pay for.Repeat customer for sure.

Really didn’t like this place. Firstly the food is incredibly overpriced. For example, you pay $29 for a plate of fried chicken and chips, and the chips are the tiny shoe string fries variety that takes up a tiny metal cup on your plate. The chicken was tasty tho, but wasn’t worth nearly $30 for it! Also, the garlic bread was not very nice. It was almost like a pull apart. It tasted like soft undercooked cake. It’s not hard to just make normal garlic bread, but this was soggy, gooey, very oily and way too garlicky. I doubt anyone would order it a second time. The service was acceptable but honestly I couldn’t get over the incredibly high prices and lack of variety on the menu. To add insult to injury they charge a TEN PERCENT surcharge on a Sunday, which is the most I have ever seen anywhere. If it’s too hard to open on a weekend, don’t open on a weekend. Wouldn’t come back here ever again.

Shrinkflation has got the better of this place. What was formerly a steak dinner is now just a piece of steak and a single small potato, costing a whopping 48 bucks. Coleslaw is no longer included and now costs an additional 8 dollars. The staff were sympathetic and did remove the coleslaw from the bill.Upon leaving, I was followed out by a man (I assume the manager) who stood in my way, in the street, to lecture me on how the superior quality of his steaks justified the price. Pub grub, with attitude and really nothing special. I live locally but won't be going back.
