Evercreech Picnic Area
Stunning place of accessible wilderness. One of the few that is accessible also with dogs. Massive gum trees and a jungle of large ferns. Easy loop to walk and easy to keep your dog on the board walk to protect wildlife.Unless you have a 4x4, make sure to approach from the South (Fingal or Mathinna), we tried to drive directly from St Helens and got scared on Mount Albert road with our normal road car. From South is just a short gravel road, and absolutely worth it.

Gravel road a bit rough but nothing a standard car couldn't do. The picnic area is lovely. Open grassy areas, beautiful bubbling brook, free electric Bbq, picnic tables, fire puts for the more rustic cooker. Nice bush walks on marked trails. Lovely spot.

Great spot tucked away down a gravel road. Gas BBQ's available as well as fireplaces with hot plates. A few good walks and a lovely creek to enjoy.

Awesome walk amongst these giants but as we found today the leeches are out in numbers. Do make sure you check yourself before leaving as we removed many and still had two latch on later down the road.

Fantastic! Love the rainforest and the big beautiful tall trees.l the White Knights. A very special place to visit.
