Hit and Miss!!!We ordered the 7 course degustation menu at $110/person plus drinks. Some of the dishes were quite good and a couple of them were below average. The service was good to start with but it took a U-turn when we were just handed the bill the moment we finished our deserts. There was no heads up that the table is rebooked and we weren’t offered any last round, instead we were rushed out. Overall, the restaurant doesn’t live up to its reputation. We won’t come back. ($270 not worth it)

My golly. Maybe the best food I’ve had in my life? Certainly the new benchmark. Every mouthful through the evening was one to savour. The space is nice, but they are certainly making the most a very narrow block.You might have a fear for small serving sizes at finer dining, I did, but Tulum gives me faith. Everything was portioned appropriate or generously for the flavours it packed and the purpose it served. For the selection of Mezze we got, along with the huge main, I can’t see how the set menu can offer the same value. Maybe if you’re in a larger group that makes sharing harder?The red lentil koftas were insane, the borek was perfect?, the peas might have been even better. I gotta say the leek and orange foam was not pretty, but like everything else it was clearly so well thought out and the puffed rice packed an unbelievable amount of flavour. I don’t think you could go wrong with any item on the menu. I would have loved to try the desserts and the chocolate Turkish delight that accompanied the couscous but there was no just no room. I guess I’ll have to visit again.

Despite its amazing atmosphere and great service, Tulum's 7-course degustation menu did not meet my expectations. While the presentation was fine, all the dishes came out lukewarm, and the taste and portion sizes fell short.The first dish, a pate dip with olives and bread and chickpea fritters, lacked flavor, while the next dish, a quarter of a potato with peas and carrots, was also cold and unappetizing. The octopus tentacle was similarly bland, and the manti lacked meat. The lamb pie was dry and not warm enough, and the snapper was also dry and had an uncomplimentary sauce. The chicken dessert was dried up bits of chicken that tasted like toasted coconut, and overall, the food was not a good representation of Turkish cuisine.Despite the high prices, we were still hungry afterwards, which is not what you expect from a fine dining degustation experience. While this might be a great experience for those who don't normally fine dine, I wouldn't recommend Tulum for those looking for an authentic Turkish culinary experience. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this restaurant.

-Wines were nice-entree highlights were the stuffed sardines and sulu borek.-Main highlights.. none because we didn’t order any-Sides; bread (AMAZING)-vibe was cute-Waiter was attentive.- ordered seven dishes & three drinks total bill was $240-would recommend, and will come again

I wasn’t expecting much as I never had Turkish dish prior to my visit. The food was amazing, the staff were lovely and ambience is quite intimate.. Also, whoever made that scallops, it was perfect! highly recommended!

We came on a Friday night and it was surprisingly calm and cozy. The 6 course menu was perfect as it had all the dishes we wanted to try from the a la carte menu. Perfect with a bottle of Turkish pinot grigio.Will be back again.

Absolutely delicious!We had a selection of the menu and loved every bite.The ambience of the place was beautiful and the perfect place for our anniversary.The menu is extensive with a modern touch on traditional Turkish recipes.Options are the 7 course share or 6 course meals at reasonable prices for the volume and quantity. There’s a large drinks selection inclusive of Turkish and Australian wines and an extensive non alcoholic selection too.We couldn’t get in the two desert offerings inclusive of the chicken desert which sounds to be interesting and we are going to return to.Our favourites being the Borak and the octopus dishes, being diamonds amongst the gold dishes we were served.Thanks to the great team there for a wonderful evening and we will most definitely be back for more!

I had a delicious 6 course meal at this restaurant last night but I would like to bring to your notice that we walked out with disappointment as we feel the person who served us got us confused with the banquet price. We confirmed with her twice if the total price for 2 adults would be 110 (55 pp) and she said yes however she didn’t add that 55 pp is JUST for the drinks. And additional 100 pp for the food (which she did not convey).This has been a surprising dinner for us. To their counter argument they said it’s mentioned on menu however the menu is very confusing. This is why the server was explaining the menu. We have never experienced this however we dine quite regularly.

Amazing fine dining Turkish restaurant, food is delicious and presentation is always unique. They also cater exceptionally for any allergies or dietary requirements!
