Basket Swamp National Park
Great place for a swim the water is black from tannins leached out of the native plants. There is a deep hole just above the waterfall that is a great place to swim. The rd is a bit rough but solid, so any car with a bit of clearance should be ok. Head up to the lookout on the southern part of the park just be careful as the rocks can be slippery when wet.

Awesome place to explore, varied walks and roads are mostly 2wd with some requiring at least higher clearance.

An amazing place that can be accessed by 4WD or conventional car in one spots. Spectacular waterfalls, lookouts and sacred Aboriginal sites. Well worth the visit. Access from Mt Lindsay Rd 15k out fron Tenterfield.

Great bushwalking tracks and beautiful flora. Awesome views from Timbarra Trig south towards Tenterfield.

Went on walk to aboriginal site. Not marked at all. Quite disappointing. Plenty of leeches on walk which was horrible. Would not go back there.

Basket Swamp National Park
Camped at basket swamp picnic and camping area 2 months after the huge bush fire. Has drop toilet and only source of water is the creek. Lovely area and a must drive and check out.

Beautiful place, worth the rough road, spectacular scenery and incredible flora. Make sure you walk up Timbarra Trig.
