Professional & Qualified.Think I have to drop a star on the last place I visited.Cruz done an excellent job on me noggin, fast and efficient. And I came out looking alright.Very casual setting, relxad and chilled.Parking can be a struggle, but if your not fussed in walking a couple hundred then there's parking down on Rupert St.Nothing's changes just the name's.

So the team there are great. They seem like a great bunch. Was offered drinks etc on arrival which was nice. But the haircut was by far the worst haircut I have ever had - no joke. I showed the hairdresser a picture (was a very simple fade, get it done all the time) The end result was completely different. He made fade to high, making it look like someone’s placed a toupee on my head as 3/4 of my head was shaven basically to the skin. The picture I showed him had more of a gradual fade. IAlso the head must have fallen off the clippers as now I have a line at the back of my head. I had high hopes as I watched other hairdressers before my turn and it looked fantastic. But unfortunately the hairdresser that did mine, maybe wasn’t as experienced. They have offered to refund me which was nice in theory but I still haven’t received the refund… and it’s been a few weeks now. I pay $38 in the city at my usual hairdressers - they wash your hair, give you massage and offer drinks. These guys charged me $45 and no hair wash, nothing. Overall I was really disappointed with the whole experience, completely unprofessional and I would not recommend - cheers

I’m sure all the other barbers are amazing at this place. But the experience I had was far below the quality of a $45 haircut. The fade was terrible , I even had to come back to have a little spot fixed by another barber in the same shop that Christian had missed either out of carelessness or just laziness. The fade was that bad I may aswell have asked for a bowl cut. I went to a different barber the same day to get it fixed for free thankfully so I didn’t look like Manny in the movie Ice Age. If you want a haircut don’t book it through Christian , or if you want your time to be wasted and to go waste $45 then feel free to book through him. Again , I’m sure the other barbers there are great at their job judging from their haircuts. But in my opinion Christian shouldn’t be working there as I’ve seen apprentice barbers do a better haircut. ESPECIALLY for $45. The rest of the barbershop is awesome though.

Deathwish Barber the place to be for your cuts. I had my hair cut by Christian and Cruz and they did me up real nicely. I was even given a discounted price as I wasn't going for a full cut and just wanted to clean up my sides. The place is a whole vibe, and all the Barbers seems friendly and easy to talk to. Would recommend Deathwish to anyone.

This barber shop is amazing. Christian is my go-to guy. He never let me down and is very consistent with his work. Even though I have very thin fringe and high hairline, he still make it look amazing. Highly recommended!

After a recent haircut here, I've been emailed /texted three times asking me to post a review. I just wanted a haircut, but here you go.I've been here four times now with four different barbers. Didn't particularly warm to any of them and didn't like what they did to my hair unfortunately. The most recent guy I went to stood in between myself and the mirror and spun the chair around as he cut my hair so that he didn't have to move around. Truly bizarre behaviour.He also kept calling me 'brother', which I dont really appreciate from one white man to another...particularly when I'm about 15 years older than him.The place is trying very hard to be cool and it's clearly going down well with a lot of people. It's not for me though and I won't be going back.

First time in the shop and Cruz sorted me out. Nice vibe , friendly chatty staff and great haircut. Best I've had in a long time, I'll definitely be back.

This was my first experience at a barber and I honestly would never go anywhere else. The guys here are amazing and know their craft so well.I came in with an idea but also let Fynn guide me in what he thought would look best and it's the first time I've been so excited and happy with a haircut. Not only did it look amazing with and without product, but has continued to look amazing as it's grown out as well.Thank you so much! You guys are the place I would recommend to everyone for an alternative cut and affordable prices!

Extremely welcoming store, when you walk in every barber says hello with a smile, offer a drink and take your coat/hat. Had Christian, man can cut a mean fade and cole hairline lineup.
