Excellent Kitchen
good value with the 3 veg choices for $8. although the vegetable dishes were lacking in flavour so i had to put more chilli sauce. more flavour and fresh choices would be great next time. overall better than many other restaurants still :) mapo tofu was good!

The name's 'Excellent Kitchen' and the food that comes out ain't too bad at all.Located in one of the back corners of the Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown food court, this place offers a variety of items from their menu (including a separate list of vegetarian options), or choose your own selection from the hot bar. I opted for the 2 meat + 2 veg for $11, which I thought was quite good value. A few of the items were out of stock, but there was enough remaining variety to choose from. Not sure why but only half of the items were labelled. Anyways portion was decent, with enough for me to share with my son, factoring in some extra items.The extras were a number of pastry/baked items they had on display, which gave the meal some yum cha feels. Pretty happy with all the choices and would definitely return here when I'm seeking a feed in this centre.My order:* choose your own lunch special ($11) with roasted salted chicken, steam fish, omelette, tofu* egg tart, $2* sesame ball with red bean paste, $1.80* salty egg puff with lotus seed, $2* glutinous pork dumpling, $1.80* BBQ pork puff, $2

Stingy much? this is the 1 meat + 1 veg for $8... i got alot of rice, 2 pieces of sliced chicken which was mainly bone and the veg... 2 pieces of snowpeas and a bit of celery... the photo can speak for itself...

The cheapest Chinese restaurant in the south side of Brisbane.$12 2+2 meal is good for quick bit lunch.It sounds cheap, but the taste and portion are good.

Ordered one of their’s top choice: special fried rice! Taste wise, pretty average! There was burnt charcoal pieces in my rice. Nothing wow or memorable about it. For the price at the time (lunchtime phase), it was just passed! There are other options better next to them.

Excellent Kitchen
One of the best value asian restaurants on the south of brisbane. As a previous reviewer said, they are the cheapest, but also, the food tastes great. There are so many restaurants in the sunnybank area that simply cannot get this right and charge 2-3 times more than this place for very average dishes. Also, the fact that they offer a handful of vegetarian dishes (which also taste great) says a lot about this restaurant.

Excellent Kitchen
Egg tart was disappointing, overcooked custard and lacking buttery flavor. Char siu puff was excellent. Stir fried beef noodles had wok hei but the sauce didn't win me.

Excellent Kitchen
Had a really nice Malaysian char kawai dew and XO sauce fried rice. Noodles was really yummy and portions were very generous for the price. Overall really good.
