Absolutely delicious pizza!! Ordered the pepperoni and road runner...the pepperoni is one of the best iv ever had...highly recommend this place...really great hard-working owner..definitely going to be a regular visitor...thankyou so much!!!

Last time i ordered here pizza was burnt and not even cut.Just arrived to give them a second shot to find out the pizza I had ordered 30 minutes ago and been given a 30minute wait for had not even been started. Don't waste your time

Our family of four + dog dropped in for a convenient dinner on our way from Melbourne to Adelaide. I called ahead and ordered a Road Runner (BBQ chicken) and Pepperoni Pit Stop with extra ham that were placed on the table after we’d had a few minutes to appreciate the great decor and fantastic job that was being done by the one person manning what seems a popular pizza place. My husband and I took our first bite of the Road Runner and both commented on how impressed we were with the flavour in particular. One of our fussy children also enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. Highly recommend HWY-1 Cafe Pizzeria to everyone.

The entire experience was a pleasure! The pizza was totally delicious with a fluffy crust and light base, and the toppings hit the spot. The garlic bread pizza was something else it was so good, I’ve never had something like that. The place is really well set out and the atmosphere is great; I loved chatting with the owner and would totally come back

On our way back from Melbourne to Adelaide, we decided to stop for dinner at Tailem Bend, found this funky place with excellent pizzas!!My husband and I have some sensitive digestions (gluten and preservatives) and had NO problems at all with these pizzas. The ingredients are fresh and you can taste the difference (or at least I can). I don't know which flour the owner uses but it is a good quality one.We had the chicken bbq pizza and the vegetarian pizza (I don't remember the exact names sorry). Both so good!The owner is genuine and definitely likes making these delicious gems. It was a pleasure chatting with him!Please please.. would you open a pizza place in Adelaide? Tailem Bend is a bit far for us to pick up pizzas for dinner.. :-)

Really great pizza with traditional hand made base and fresh ingredients. As good as any pizza I have ever had. The shop is clean and nicely themed. Friendly service too.

We had Pizza & Garlic Bread tonight in Tailem Bend..HWY-1 Cafe Pizzeria! One of the best Pizzas & Garlic Bread we’ve ever had!! Do yourselves a favour & give it a go, you won’t be dissappointed!!And the owner was such a lovely bloke too..

Awesome little spot, great atmosphere and friendly staff, food is spot on, ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas and were the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time!
