Beachside Holiday Caravan Park

This is one of the best parks we have ever stayed in. Plenty of room to park next to our camping, a view of the ocean. Clean and new bathrooms and the vooking kitchen facilities were incredible. The beach is a 500m walk from the sites. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable of the area. They were consistently friendly and we had the best stay of our two four week roadtrip. We honestly cannot wait to come back! Thank you so so much.

Great place and we had a spot right on the beach. You can walk along the beach for quite awhile.Easy checkin but the guy directing you to park your caravan is quite rude and abrupt so be prepared.

Great park, immaculate amenities, very friendly staff and just metres from the beach. Close enough to easily walk into town. Will be back, just for longer

Stunning location! One of the best camping spots we’ve come across in Australia! While we couldn’t camp right on the beach front, we were still very close and could easily see the water. Great facilities and clean bathrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance to nearby cafes and restaurants. Will be staying here again. THANK YOU :)

Lovely park. When you arrive you are expertly guided into you site. Very helpful service, a marriage saver.

Disappointingly you aren't able to check in after 5pm during winter with no negotiable later check in due to unforeseen circumstances like traffic or emergencies.This is in their terms and condition but not advertised boldly on the website.There’s also no refund/part refund.I was advised that the reason for this was because they don’t want to staff for a later period (? No one is on-site if there’s an issue). Also they like to be advised early as they want to read advertise the available site (double cash for the site).Overall this is a pretty poor policy in comparison to other sites that provide these services.1 - Star is given to the lady on the phone that was at least sympathetic.

Personally not a great experience. Park is undoubtedly in a beautiful location, and although there aren’t any real facilities on sites for kids it is only a short walk to the awesome Yeppoon foreshore parks. The main issue I had is the park seems to cater mostly to retiree aged patrons and I witnessed one man yelling at / intimidating young kids (and in this case was totally unreasonable). Then reading reviews here I see that’s not an isolated incident. I recommend families with young kids look elsewhere as there are better parks nearby such as NRMA which although doesn’t have such a great location had a much more welcoming and family friendly atmosphere. Also the sites had a fair bit of road noise, we were on the opposite side of park to road and it was still noticeable at night. Not great value from that perspective either as the site fees are relatively expensive (especially if you were placed next to the road).

We are in our own van and this is a well established park. Staff are friendly, facilities are old but very clean. Great location although sites are tight and you don't have much room.

Rang to book today Grant very nice until I told him we had a registered service dog,when he then informed me they are not pet friendly. Begrudgingly told me that he could not discriminate against us when I informed him re federal discrimination act but was quick to say we wouldnt make it prior to their 5pm close as I had informed him we were coming from Bowen.We had been on road for two hours already and would have been there at 1445Very disappointing to be discriminated against via phoneWe would obviously have not been made welcome
