Scooter Hut Canberra

I was looking for my first commute electric scooter and Scooter Hut were open on a Sunday. Great product selection, friendly service, they even let me take out the scooter for a test drive (with the salesperson on another faster one). Safe to say I bought it...

Refused to replace front wheel tyre tube on my Mearth e-scooter this morning 3 November (I had a new replacement tube with me) because my e-scooter was not one of the brands that they sold. Customer relations ... NOT.

Great team and excellent customer service. I went in to get some accessories for my scooter and the team helped me set it up. Definitely recommend them for anyone who needs anything done to their scooter.

Store manager is very unprofessional. Wasted a lot of time in store because we need to help in setting up the scooters by ourself. Many of our doubts are not being solved. Most of the answers are ‘ I don’t know’‘I’m not sure’ . Wrong instructions are given to set up the speed limit until we read the user manual. This is very dangerous to the user! She don’t even double check the product before sending it out to customer. The product is defective, the headlight is not working. This is what I get for spending $7000 to buy a TERRIBLE experience!! Will never recommend to anyone.Updated 20/9/22 The front brake of one of the scooter is not working at all! Unbelievable!Store owner please check the CCTV in store how come this happened?! FB messages and emails are also taking forever to reply.

Went and saw the team today and they were AWESOME! I’m a 6 foot tall 37 year old and they talked me through all their options and built me up a custom-fitted pro scooter. The nostalgia is unreal and I can’t wait to hit the streets on it.The lads took their time to set everything up perfectly and sorted out a lot of young kids as well who were stoked.I’ll be back and I’ll bring my old crusty mates too.

Went in (20/04/23) for a basic commuting scooter. Helpful advice from Mel. My new Inmotion Air Pro scooter is great, was very affordable and is better than others I’d seen for the same money or less.

I have visited the store three times now only to be disappointed on every occasion.The first time I went there I asked if they would price match a Sydney store. I was told by the manager “Why don’t you just buy it from them”. Being a manager myself I nearly fell on the floor, unbelievable!So I did just that and drove to Sydney to buy my beloved Mantis Pro.The second time I rang in advance to make sure they had the off road tires I wanted. I was told yes we do! I arrived to find out they had only one. Not only did they lie, their technician had butchered it trying to fit it to a scooter it didn’t fit. Needless to say that angered me as I live on the other side of town.The third time I rang in advance again asking if they had inner tube’s. The manager Mel said they had some that would work. I trusted her, I really don’t know why after the last two experiences. I guess I was desperate to get my beast back on the road. Turns out that they were the right size but the valves came out in the wrong direction.I will never attempt to shop there again no matter how desperate I am. Zero stars, would not recommend!Edit:A 50k price match policy is terrible customer service. You have stores in Sydney that are within 50k of the store that won my $3,000. This is called discrimination, you are trying to rip me off because of where I live. I certainly didn’t drive to a Sydney Scooter Hut store to buy, I took your manager’s advice and bought elsewhere.Thank you for the refund offer but when I arrived at your store I could CLEARLY see that they would not work and didn’t purchase them. You need to do some training with your staff.

This review would be 0 stars if I could it but I can and they told us to come in next week we did and then they were closed and they were moving out waste of fuel and time don't recommend trusting workers on phone specially someone named Sam.

My husband and I spent over $1000 in store over a few different days and each time the experience of customer service was awfulWe like the store just not the workers and we also had issues with the custome made scooters they weren't oiled or built right as we worked out after we leftWe took them back for someone to look at and my husband had more knowledge then they did he was very dissapointed.Good customer service goes along way and store does not have it.It makes you want to just order online.
