Great service, as with smaller country towns it's not cheap, fruit and vegetables are a little lackluster. Good for essentials not your weekly shopping.

Meat was always good (best in the district) whilst supplied fresh from Casterton; however now that it comes from Heywood it is low grade and grisly.Likewise fruit and veg whilst expensive was once acceptable, but is now awful. Tomatoes may look OK in-store but within 24hrs they look like they have leprosy. Individually cling wrapped cucumbers become spotty within a day before they go mouldy by the second day.Do the staff handling the F&V ever wash their hands before wrapping and packing produce or do they go straight from the cash register with dirty hands? Some great specials from time to time, even cheaper than Aldi.Ice creams and frozen foods have improved after they finally added sliding glass covers over their main freezer, instead of sheets of polystyrene foam. However there appears to be a different fridge out of action every week, one week it's the meat fridge, the next week it's the deli fridge. It's time this shop upgraded its cold storage and bought some reliable fridges, as the present setup results in a lot of product wastage. I've also been turned off by the deli meat. Sometimes the bacon looks grey. It is also best practice to remove the tired, dried out first cut or two instead of including them in the deli purchases.

I understand they are a small town IGA but what price on convenience? Be prepared to pay double on most items that are close to expiry. I feel sorry for them but I work hard for my money and live on a budget.

Great store, great service and are competitive in price apposed to driving to Hamilton or Casterton. Boss man is a tiger fan so he's loyal, helpful trying his best to compete.

New produce supplier with more options in fruit and veg has changed the whole area

Bit damp at present and tourists should keep an eye out for swimming snakes. Otherwise the same friendly service and great prices we've come to expect from country IGA stores. Bloody lot better than the duopoly.

Very friendly staff, just didn't have what I wanted in stock and wouldn't have it in for at least a week. I increased their rating to 5 star because at my visit today the staff were so nice and helpful, and they had what I wanted, and much more!

The service is always super friendly, but the range is very limited due to Coleraine having a small population. They unfortunately have quite a few things that are still out of date sitting on the shelf, so I'd be checking the date before buying anything from there.
