Estia Health South Morang

My grandmother entered Estia Health for Respite care after a fall this year & felt so comfortable & Welcomed that she decided to stay on as a Permanent Resident.Radmila made the transition a positive experience as she guided us through the process with her gorgeous smile & genuine care of the residents.It has given me great peace to be able to approach her room (prior to the Covid pandemic) when visiting unexpectedly to hear the staff having a laugh with her & genuinely making her feel at ease.The nursing staff responde promptly to any concerns & do regular checks.My grandmother continuously tells me how lovely the staff are to her & how much she likes Bingo !!She has some favourite staff members that have now become her extended family & I am so grateful to them all especially now with the current Covid-19 Pandemic as I know there jobs have become so much harder.

Friendly staff who are always available to look after your loved ones. Two choices of meals at each seating with beer, wine and drinks served.Fruit served after every meal. Tea and Coffee with cake served for morning tea and afternoon tea daily. Nurse staff on call 24 hours. Doctor visits with all medications managed and families informed of health progress. Beautiful Dining room with light filled court yards & casual living area's to meet families. Great place to visit. All the staff get along and enjoy working at Estia. Great atmosphere for residents and guests.. Well done Estia. *****

Very poor, my grandfather was in this facility. Took him out in his wheelchair the other day and said he hadn't been in the sun for months! Staff can't even take residents into courtyards! Also very very poor pressure care! He now has a wound on his foot that is causing circulation issues and another on his sacrum. Staff also don't place him in his wheelchair correctly so he slips out all day. Overall if I were to have the chance to put him somewhere else I would in a heartbeat!

Very proud to be working for Estia Health for over 4 years now , our home reflects the residents that choose us , ,the community that surrounds us and the people that support and work with us .

Workers seem to lose" a lot of things very low amount of staff compared to patients food is very good for a nursing home with a new menu every day"
