Amazing gym! Alex is super friendly and welcoming and is a great teacher/coach. He has set up a great environment for everyone to learn BJJ, whether you want to train to get in shape and have fun or if you want to compete seriously. The facilities are fantastic, with world class Zebra mats and is always kept to the highest level of cleanliness.

A very welcoming bjj gym with a 3rd degree black belt that actually rolls and trains with he's students.The students are amazing and friendly both on and off the mats... dont be fooled by the smiles and friendly faces, everyone takes their training serious whilst training and very helpful on the mats.highly recommended for anyone looking for some solid training and new friends.

ASBJJ changed my life for the better. All Professors and Coaches have a wealth of knowledge and they encourage students to be the best version of themselves on and off the mats. Professor Alex has produced multiple world champs and world medalists, and he gets in there and grinds with his students. Everyone is friendly and always willing to help. ASBJJ is my second home for life!

I strongly recommend this place for anyone keen to learn Bjj. The facilities are always clean, specially the mat - they are on top of the cleaning! Alex is passionate about BJJ and a great coach. His knowledge is mind blowing. They also run kids classes as well which are extremely engaging for the little ones (4 years old!).The whole team is friendly, the higher belts are always supportive helping and sharing their knowledge. Easy to get there by tram and easy parking.

I was visiting from overseas and wanted to do a few classes while I was in Melbourne. Alex and the crew there were very welcoming and warm. It was $70 to attend for a week which I think is very reasonable. The teaching is very professional and thorough. The dojo has a family atmosphere like good ones do. Alex and Thiago are great - definitely go there if you’re in Melbourne and want to train BJJ.

Great place to train with classes morning, lunch and night for all skill levels and ages. World class facilities and a world class coach. Our whole family trains there and we couldn’t be happier, we love it. Would recommend this gym to anyone.
