Extremely dissatisfied. Having had laser treatments for over 20 years this treatment was the least effective. Dr Poon’s consultation lasted 3- 5 minute giving me no detail of what particular treatment I would receive. The result was non existent and a complete waste of time and money.That has never been my previous experience with laser treatment. Save yourself from any distress by not using this service for laser treatments. I wished I’d read the reviews myself beforehand.

Mixed feelings. The dermatologist on site has zero interest in you apart from pushing you through and charging excessive prices. I felt really awkward with the consultation and at one point wondered if I should just walk out half way as he does not even look you in the eye and his manner was very impolite. Never have I been to a doctor where I felt like a second class citizen but this place was it. He really seemed to be in the wrong profession. The rest of the staff however are lovely. Prices are very steep, almost 4 times the rest of Sydney. I thought I'll come here as it is long established but I don't think I will go back for another treatment.

Support staff are ok but the Drs are unprofessional. They prescribe you for more treatments than you need and made sure the first treatment show minimal result so you go back for more. Treatments are overpriced compared to the rest of Sydney. Drs are not engaging or responsive, when they say they will call you to discuss results, they never do. AVOID this clinic if you can.

Went there for laser hair removal services. Must ask to have the same nurse to treat you as they will provide a different one every time. A timetable was made on the first consultation to show which area of body and what date the hairs will be lasered. Receptionist did not keep files on the computer / this was not passed to receptionist so there was confusion and questions every time I went for a session as to what body part I am doing. (was lasering up to 4 different body parts, hard to keep track of which couple or few it was every time)The first two sessions I had, i had forgotten to shave my hair beforehand. The nurses did not offer a shaver or say anything and went ahead with the treatment. It is not effective to laser over grown hairs as it is essentially just burning the skin. Upon arriving to my third session was when I was finally offered a shaver AFTER I had mentioned the last two sessions I had to the nurse.I then asked to have the same nurse as I finally felt taken care of, but to my surprise the receptionist said yes I can take a note for you unless she is sick that day. So as a patient and paying customer I have to keep in mind that the nurses at the clinic may have a sick day. Unless you want to call on the day of your appointment to check if your chosen nurse/doctor may be sick, then I do not recommend this clinic. It is unorganised and they do not take care of you as a patient.

I have had 2 issues treated by Dr. Marianne Nolan and Dr. Poon and the results have been excellent. 6 years ago I had 2 treatments for spider veins" on my nose and face. The result was excellent and has remained that way since. Then 4 years ago I had numerous "Morgan de Campbell" spots removed off my torso in 1 treatment. They resemble small blood blisters. Again

Fantastic practice with lovely staff, nurses and doctors. Received a detailed treatment plan so I know what to expect and the estimated time for treatment. Very upfront with pricing from the beginning. No pressure to commit to the treatments. Was advised, can stop any time.The clinic is clean, bright and spacious. Nurses took the time to explain everything: pre, during and post procedure. Any questions I had were explained and noted down for follow up.During the procedure, the doctor and nurses ensured I was comfortable and provided constant breaks based on my reactions. Never felt rushed or felt like I needed to continue before I was ready.Reception and nurses called and left messages to follow up on how I was feeling the next day. Received reminders before appointments and was able to leave any questions I had before or after appointments, which are always answered promptly.

I took my son to see Dr. Poon after referred by our local doctor. He only spent 20 minutes to ask general question, and outlined vague outcome. Then the nurse came to explain the laser treatment. The treatment number is ‘estimated’, therefore the total cost is unknown in advance. The whole treatment plan asks patient to consent to take full risk. Under our several requests, the nurse showed us ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos of previous patients, the difference is subtle. They charged nearly $300 for total 40 minutes work which is unfair and unprofessional. In our opinion, you should never come to his clinic, you will waste your time and money and never get the result you expect. I wish I can give him -1 star.

Similar to others experiences described here, the Dr spent a few disinterested minutes before declaring 'not sure' - about a skin condition that is textbook in appearance and has been diagnosed immediately by other medical professionals.

I went to Neutral Bay Laser Dermatology Clinic the staff were amazing. Clinic was cleaned and smells good. Staff very friendly, very welcoming and ensure you are feeling comfortable. I saw their staff Jamila she was not only very helpful but also gave good advise on how to take better care of my skin. I recommend anyone to visit and you will feel so fantastic after seeing the clinic and their amazing staff.They also have a room for kids to play!

Have been a patient here for 12 months now and Dr Poon helped treat my acne and get a handle on my rosacea. He listened to what the issues were and didn't fluff about with treatments I had already tried or wasn't interested in, was straight to the point, easy to listen to, and understood exactly what I wanted and needed. I was treated respectfully and didn't feel self-conscious about my skin during appointments. The clinic was understanding of my availability for appointments as I had to travel from another state so they accommodated better times to allow me to get there, as well as not booking me in for unnecessary appointments. I won't hesitate to go back, as well as encourage all others to visit.
