The Waterfront Cafe & General Store
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. They have their own post office, bottle mart, cheese, fruits and vegetables. Highly recommend to visit this place. They have side wall ways around the shop which is very lovely. They have live music too every Sunday from 3:30 to 6:30pm.

We went there after our swim at Mona Vale Beach. The views were amazing with Scotland island to your right and many boats on the lake. The cafe looked packed but to my amazement, the waiter took us to the rooftop level! It's nicely decorated with blue theme. We ordered the prawn linguine, seafood Platter and peri peri pizza. All the food was delicious except the fact that the Cafe was soo busy that they ran out of oysters so we didn't our oysters and calamari. We told the staff and it was mentioned to the owner. They then offered us for free dessert but we were sooo full after that meal and wanted a refund. And the owner was understanding and gave us $16 back in return. It was a good experience. But in future they should advise the customer if oysters or calamari have ran out.

Dishonest and overpriced place.Ordered 2 combo specials from the menu on display outside, which was supposed to be $36. They charged us $67 for 2 burgers (regular Maccas size), 2 small lots of fries and 2 small glasses of soft drink. When I approached the management, the lady passionately tried to convince me we asked for a different product from a different menu, which is not even on display outside. Surprise!Instead of resolving, the lady only escalated the situation and raised her voice with me. I told her I don’t appreciate it but she kept going anyway.Appalling customer service, this place is a joke. Glad we only spent $67 there!

The interior of this cafe is stunning and they have a great variety of cafe classics. I ordered the shakshuka but it was poor in terms of generosity of chorizo and veg.Service was also a bit of a downfall as some of the waitstaff came across as rude.

Food was nice, but not brilliant... for the price I expected more.Having said that, the staff were all super friendly and it was definitely a nice location.I wouldn't rush back, but I wouldn't write it off either.Cocktails were delicious!

Tragic excuse for food being served out of the takeaway window. $21 for a few pieces of overcooked squid that is 80% batter. (Advertised as 'Naked Squid') Chips old and cooked in filthy oil.Save your money and go elsewhere.Seems they're happy to serve disgusting food as they're next to the water and think they don't need to try. Also tried overcharging us and had to point out the price they've put on the menu.

Prawn pasta is nice. Not super amazing view even it’s next to the water as the place is set up quite crowded. lots of pot plants hanging from the roof which is nice touch of the place. Maybe better to takeaway and picnic next to the beach is nicer if visiting church point.
