Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely, classy, family friendly restaurant Lago in the top of the Budgewoi hotel.The staff were so welcoming, truly cared about our experience and were attentive the service and our dining experience.The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Great menu. Absolutely the best meal I have had on the central coast. Well worth a visit if you enjoy quality food. Highly recommend!

The newly renovated pub looks great. We stopped in for lunch on a lazy Sunday drive and glad we did. The menu is diverse and sure to appeal to just about everyone. My wife had the Salmon poke bowl (with sashimi salmon) and loved it. I opted for a Chicken Caesar salad and wasn't disappointed (crispy croutons, sliced chicken schnitzel, bacon etc). Friendly staff, good selection of beer on tap, and live music on weekend afternoons. Definitely worth a look-in.

Salmon was under cooked but that was ok. All the other food was cooked.entertainment was ok although my video is short and unfair to judged by.Service was fast and friendly. Hotel was not overly busy on the Saturday afternoon.Plenty of outdoor seating, some undercover and others not.Hotel looked fresh and clean.Loved the great big tree outside. Nice location.Meals were overpriced for the level of quality and that was the downfall for me.

Amber and I have nothing but praise for the quality, service and staff at the budgewoi hotel. We booked a function room and the staff were nothing but friendly, willing to accommodate us in anyway possible and their work ethic was nothing short of highly commendable. Catering was punctual, the food was amazing and the staff serving us made our experience even better! We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time & great food!

Budgewoi Hotel
Went for lunch. The place looks great. Good atmosphere. We had one of the pizza's. Honestly it wasn't horrible but there's room for improvement. If you want something plain then you'll get it. They're not Italian style pizza's. I'll go back and start trying some more of the menu and hopefully it was just a one off. Otherwise great place, friendly staff.

Staff are without exception super friendly, making you feel at home and welcome. The building itself is very nicely appointed / decorated. Food, on the other hand, is what is letting this place down. With such an expensive menu, I did expect the standards to be higher: you're paying some of the highest prices for pub fare on the central coast, yet the food is barely passable. If they can get someone to whip the kitchen into shape, this pub will be amazing! Keep up the good work everyone.
