Best service I have ever had in my life. Give these guys a raise. Matt behind the bar was immaculate with great service, friendly chat, and just a good bloke. In the bistro area Tom was great at service with bringing out our meals very efficiently and fast that were delicious by the way. Would definitely come back. Please let these men know how great they are going.

As I stand at the pokie room bar, waiting 5 minutes for service behind 4 people, I marvel not for the first time at how the bistro has 10-12 staff, gaming has zero, front bar 1-2 and yet service is still non-existent!The best gaming rooms in Brissy are staffed fully. The best front bars are staffed with bright, bubbly knowledgeable people and the best bistros can be run with 5 skilled workers, especially when your bistro is usually empty. You've fallen a long long way Colmslie. How you're still open is baffling.

Very average experience here tonight. Service started off ok, but got progressively worse to the point we had to chase waiters up for things. Not overly polite service.Meals were pretty boring, missing a little something. Calamari was tough, Guiness pie boring.Desert (sticky dates) were clearly from a packet, confirmed by my wife biting into a shard of plastic container.Overall, pretty disappointing. Kids had a ball running around in the playground though!

Could not fault anything in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great. A marvellous four hours spent in a very pleasant atmosphere. We were not rushed away and the manager was even happy to help us with a photo to capture the momentous occasion of our reunion.

Recently moved to the area and consistently saw the Steak & Seafood sign everyday whenever we drove past, finally decided to go in and see what it was all about.I'll keep it short and simple like the food, it was bland, under cooked, under seasoned, over dressed & it felt like the pub was on a budget and the food was made with no love or passion. The craft beers were nice, cocktails too but would've been a lot nicer if the correct measure of spirits were noticeable in the taste.Hope management sees this review and improves the quality of their kitchen.

We had issues with the aircon in our work place and had organised a conference with interstate staff. Due to the aircon issue, i had to find a place within 24 hours. I spoke to Emily in functions who made room for us and accommodated our needs. Emily, your service is above standard and you have such a positive disposition. I hope your manager gets to read this as you are a great asset to the company.Overall, ALL the staff were fantastic and nothing was an issue.5 Stars!

Not bad for $9.90 with a drink purchased and $10.90 on its own roast lunch.Although nice food, I was served by a gentleman with a shirt and tie, looked like management, he weren’t very friendly. May be he need to attend his own ‘customer service’ training or take some training.

I've been coming here for many years and it's always been a favourite spot. Sad to day the food and the service used to be the best for miles around. I would have to say while still good, it's not to the same standard that it used to be, and like everywhere else, the price has become much higher. I'd like to see the former standards of food and service reached again, because this has always been somewhere I've gone out of the way to bring friends, family, and visitors to.

First time coming here, wish I could say my experience went well, but I can’t, to start with, I went to the females toilet to use the toilet, I sat down, but when I moved forward the seat came undone, I hit my head on the door and also fell on the floor. When out I used the soap hand pump which didn’t work and broke when I only used it once? Waited a long time for someone to take my order and waited even longer for the food to come out, food was good and very filling.

Good pub with good drinks and food. Has a large outdoor area to watch the footy and pool tables for $3 a game. A good local spot.
