Came here in june, very cold outside, rooms are heated by AC units, which dont work properly in this season, we are a family of 3 and room is very small not enough space to unpack the luggages. Next morning we went down for breakfast at 9:05 and it was finished at 9:00. Weird. Never ever gonna stay again. We travelled via a travel agency and asked them to remove this hotel from their list.

A true three star hotel. The bathroom is teeny tiny. The smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. The “king” bed is two singles pushed together, and on the hard side. The free wifi disconnects all the time. A bit too expensive. No lights on the ceiling. The hallway ceiling is so low, I can touch it, and I am short. If you have a bigger budget, stay at the ibis next door. We left an item of clothing in the wardrobe. The staff were very helpful in looking, but the shirt is no where to be seen. If you accidentally leave anything behind, don’t expect to get it back.

Came into Hobart earlier than expected, yet staff were very helpful + accommodating, allowing us access to parking. We didn't need early room access but were more than willing to try and help make arrangements if we did. Nice rooms, bathroom in their compact suite" was certainly compact which might be worth considering for some

The room was what we needed for the night, though if we had more luggage it would have been tight. My partner didn't like the pump bottles in the bathroom but we had our own bar soap anyway. I did really appreciate that we were given a door key each as most places usually only provide one key per room and it was nice to not have to coordinate who had the key to get in and out, A+However, if we had known that the on-site parking wasn't available, we would have stayed somewhere else. The off site parking is paid street parking or a paid parking garage down the block which isn't really convenient at all. The staff member also couldn't really direct us to the garage either, or give us any information about it at all.. We were driving around a camper van and wanted somewhere comfortable for one of our last nights, so even if there was space in the underground on-site parking, we wouldn't have fit and there was no indication of a height restriction on the website either (it's 1.8m). We were definitely irritated about the parking situation, but overall it wasn't a bad experience with the room. The ability to do laundry was appreciated, and the reception had coins for the machines. We probably wouldn't stay here again and would find somewhere with an easier drop off area and secure parking

Excellent place to stay in the heart of Hobart's CBD. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and excellent service. Our booking wasn't on the system but we were offered a better room for the same price as our original booking.

Staff here are great. Giving this 5 stars because the receptionist named Pink went above and beyond with her service and friendliness.

This Travelodge probably had the most high-tech rooms and service ever. Wireless charging pads with 2 USB ports and a full kitchen (with no oven/stove). This room was enough for a family of three. (although I'm sure there are rooms with more beds). On ground floor there is a mini bar with chocolate and drinks and on the 1st floor there is a breakfast buffet. The 2nd floor holds a gym.

Great location and staff were friendly but rooms are extremely small and if you are thinking of a romantic shower for 2 you will need to be the size of a toddler. Such is life.

Clean, comfortable, great location. Limited tv channels though and no Netflix.... breakfast buffet nice but very reminiscent of plane food. Super easy to walk around Hobart, access nearby buses and central location to access the Dark Mofo program.
