I went expecting the worst, but after I passed go (the very Professional Gatekeeper says “Centrelink says “no”), the officer who dealt with my claim/application was so friendly, kind and helpful. I still can’t believe it!

went to the Marrickville office to trying to reí started my pensión after been overseas . It was a quite long quee. But by 8:50 am I was inside the office . Following the instructions about the distance between people . From the entrance the security gay was so good happy and welcoming. And then the lady who helping me said : hello how are you today ? She was asking about how was my back from overseas and my quarantine period . And then she sent me to wait and after they call me again .And in a very gently and good way she asked me how she was able to help and she solved the problem .She was a ( Manjeet) nice and very efficient ladyI said thanks to Marrickville people office I was trying to do it at the phone for more than 10 days and I went to Leichhardt office and they treat me in the worts way .

Had really good experience in the branch today. Staff was professional, friendy and helpful. Compared to the Chatswood branch where the officer who signed in customers basically told me to bugger off with my request (I was there at 8.30am in the morning 20/04/18), the Marrickville branch is ten notches better - the exact same request got resolved and the staff even went extral mile to provide advice to the questions I had. Kudos to Chris who signed customer in in the morning and helped with my enquiry - he was very helpful and maintained high professionalism throughout between multiple roles. I would highly recommend anyone to visit this Marrickville branch if possible and avoid going to Chatswood (that branch has a long way to go for improvement ie staff attitude/service capability etc - see my feedback on their google search if you like. It was a horror story). Thanks Marrckville Centrelink to provide care and good service to people in need!

Very friendly, helpful staff who assisted me with Age Pension application

Went in on Monday, 20-5-19.Gave my details to the front desk.3-minutes later was served by a lovely, courteous lady. She proceeded to complete what I needed to rectify with Centrelink. Extremely professional, efficient and caring. Best Centrelink experience ever.

Given the current corona situation, with everyone desperate for centrelink benefits, I was dreading coming here again. Turned out it was far less painful than I thought.The wait in line outside took a little over an hour, but once I was inside service was quick. The employees were understanding empathetic, really great at listening to and calming down customers' frustrations. The guy who helped me (Christopher I think, but I couldn't see his nametag clearly due to the 1.5m rule lol) was great, super friendly, and sorted out my problem way quicker than I expected. answered all my questions and knew what he was doing and was very reassuring overall.4/5 would use services during pandemic related financial stress again.

Rudeness is how they operate.Treating people inhumainly..I went in there for a Medicare card , lady at the front desk asked me a series a questions with sass, then after 5 mins of asking me details she told me they don’t do Medicare there , why the hell are u asking me questions then

This place used to have the Medicare office with it I’m pretty sure, I went here today and the guy at the front who attended me said we don’t do Medicare without explaining or anything, they won’t let people in and will stall you because of covid and will say things like we can’t help you even though if you need help with other things Centrelink are suppose to help you with and it’s listed they wont help you, it should be explained I had to question the person who was attending me because he didn’t explain anything. Apparently this is just a Centrelink office with no Medicare ? but during covid it’s really hard to find offices within a 5km distance, this place definitely doesn’t help the community or thinks about the community at all when it comes to stuff like this and for them to pull that stunt in the marrickville area is really sad ! It’s suppose to be a local Centrelink at-least add a Medicare office to it.

I am shocked and appalled. Arrived 3:30, there was no line and I was immediately helped with confirming identity and making an appointment. Cassie is the bomb. I actually even enjoyed myself at Centrelink. What is life?
