Ate at the tavern. What a meal. We had the calamari strips and prawns with salad and chips.A huge meal and so fresh.Geoff is unable to eat anything with onion so they made him a special salad.Shame it's too far from home for a revisit

What a disappointing experience. 1 meal was $28, it was supposed to be chic bosciola. The chic was so tough I couldn't even cut it with the knife. 2 other chic meals were just as tough. A pasta dish was cold, they need to understand how to cook meals so they are all hot at the same time. The only meal worth eating was a childs meal of fish and chips. I would not recommend this place and I certainly won't be back.

Don't be deterred by the old reviews and outdated photos - the Hallidays Tavern has recently undergone a massive renovation and redesign, with modern decor, heated outdoor area with TV'S and lounges, an updated pokie room, bistro, children's playground, and more. We frequently dine here as the staff are friendly, and the food is excellent. If you're not a fan of waiting to order then get in early, as this is easily the most popular spot in Hallidays Point. Wednesday night is Schnitzel night, with a few options for under $16. Great family restaurant.

Bought two scotch fillets with chips and a pinch of salad last night. Paid over $60. The chips were okay but the salad and meat were just awful! The meat tasted as though it had been cryovaced for a month and was poorly cooked. My wife didn't finish her meal.Will never eat there again.

Good food good atmosphere. Plenty of room to dine or just grab a drink. Also has kids room with tv, tv was not turned on however so not sure if you have to ask for it etc

I can not say how highly impressive this establishment is! Just WOW!!Great staff, who are so friendly and professional. They know their wines and beers and are more than delighted to make appropriate wine/beer/ spirit selections to pair with your meal.Which brings me to the food...absolutely delicious. High quality and reasonably priced and an extensive range which caters for everyone, including kids. Family friendly with several play areas for children of all ages. The desserts are to die for , too.Make the trip here, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely pub with good food which is always a bonus. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathroom clean and looked after. Will be back.
