Great place to go for a walk or bike ride, could do with alot more large native trees for shade & shelter. We went right around with two kids on the back of the bike, which was just over 5kms, averaging 11kms hr, taking about 23 minutes, going by the iPhone watch, which wasn't long at all. Good to see plenty bird life while going around.

The whole place was very scenic looking into the lake from the picnic areas with walkways surrounding the whole lake.Looking from the south western side of the lake, it was very beautiful to see a few islets right in the middle from one end of the lake to the other end.The playground was more for older kids and mostly made from natural wood.The only thing lacking were the trees for shade while walking, and no public toilets available.

What can I say. If you walk around it it's about 5 km. I live around this place so do it a few times a week. Great place for a bike ride. Got kids works with them also. Some nice picnic places and BBQ spots. Give it a go
