Rosedale Caravan Park

Was very nice place to be and the owner (Mr Philip ) was a friendly elderly man.

thought to stay a week and ended up staying 3 months. the beautiful tranquil atmosphere has much going for it. located on the outskirts of the peaceful country town of Rosedale it is a short walk to public transport or even the town center whilst still surrounded by farm land and peacefully quiet.enjoyed my stay immensely as also did my pet ( ferret ) as they are a very pet friendly park with many animals roaming and willing to eat from your hand should you chose to try it. find myself now saddened to be leaving such a beautiful and friendly place.The township of Rosedale itself has much going for it from its equestrian sports to its motor speedway and the rosedale caravan park is a great base to check it all out from

Relatively quiet but on occassions can get noisy lots of shade from big trees owners Phil and Kerry very nice

Very homely, friendly, and relaxing place..Cabin came with linen, and clean to my high standards!For those families from the city, with children this caravan park is a destination point in itself.Treat your children to the country life of chickens, ducks, geese, and peacocks.The caravan park is even pet friendly!Highly recommended A+A+A+AThanks again Rosedale caravan park for the enjoyable experience :)Will definately come back...

My partner called up and fully organised for us to stay in a cabin long term, had all money to pay up front. Had it fully planned, even came to see cabin prior day to arrival, to make sure it was all sorted. We got reassured by the daughter that one would definitely be ready for us the next day and she also showed us the outside of one which was one of the available ones. Called the next morning and apparently there's none available and if we are still available when someone moves out we can have one.. The only reason I could think of that he had for doing this is that we are young and he was worried because of other bad experiences that he has had with young people like we know of.. But very disappointed, really need somewhere to stay and we finally had it sorted since four days ago. This place is not any sorts of professional..

Despicable people. Last year a resident died in front of the caravan park & the NEXT DAY THEY TOOK A HOLIDAY. I thought if i took my earlier review down as i did nothing wrong while i was there except for the above review that i could come back as I'm homeless at the momen. I rang the rosedale caravan park & asked if i could come back & explained I'm homeless but he said we ended on a bad term & i can't come back. HEARTLESS PEOPLE. BAD HYGIENE UNSAFE PLACE. POT HOLES & UNSAFE EQUIPMENT AROUND. DON'T KEEP THESE HEARTLESS PEOPLE IN BUSINESS.

This is a brilliant caravan park highly recommended for long term residents.What separates this park are the couple managing it. They are patient, caring, plus very switched on in dealing with their clientele with knowledge in assistance programs as well as fostering independence re new residents. They are contactable when necessary. Phil is down to earth and positive and Kerry has a background in education, a fantastic team. Plus both are highly organised in every respect.Many parks these days are like this, fine in their amenities and keeping their population nice enough, but these two are great, so presuming a new tenant will get settled and do the fair things they facilitate for a newbie.Perks are a relaxed country setting great if you've got a bike , or don't mind walking and are fit enough to get around or have a car. This peaceful country park is around 2.2 km from certain town facilities some may need to consider to be realistic.

Rosedale caravan park was a relaxing place to stay. Very clean and quiet surrounded by lovely shady trees for country atmosphere. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others seeking a relaxing break from city life.

The big tree is a free rest stop next to caravan park if your doing an overnight transit ..big grassy area quiet from M1.. beautiful big tree worth a look and toilets bins table here nice free camp
