Oxworks

I've avoided oxworks Bibra lake ever since Andy left, victor is rude and very unprofessional. The other day I sent one of my workers there to pick up 2 Posts and few sheets as we were too far away from my supplier so I thought I'd just give oxworks one more chance. Victor came out and harrased my worker because of A bad review I left because of victors bad service.. he came storming out and I was told got pretty abusive. I speak to many other contractors who say they prefer to drive 40 mins to R and R even tho their workshop is next to oxworks. Just because of victor....

Was very pleased with my experience with Oxworks. Staff were very helpful, product is great, and price is very competitive. Definitely include them in your scope of potential suppliers.

Ordered 6 standard 1200x2400 aluminium pool fence panels and hand full of brackets on a Monday morning, got told online they were in store and available but couldn’t be picked up until Friday! So 5 days to pick the items, Friday I rock up and basically the panels where still on the shelf in packs of 5, had to help the warehouse guy to get them out, then we had to dig around to get the 6th panel which wasn’t wrapped in any protection for Transport, and took the guy 30second a to get my brackets from the shelf which wasn’t packed either. So what was the 5 day wait for if you just get it off the shelf whilst the customer waits/helps? I got told not to use this store but didn’t listen

Had a glass pool fence professionally installed November 2018 and this week 1 panel shattered for no reason. We were inside and heard it-not a hot day & no one has touched the fence except for washing it twice. Oxworks wouldn't replace panel stating they give no guarantee on their product". So now we are out of pocket for new panel & to get the glass recoated for easy cleaning- all up $270. Think twice before buying an overseas product."

I went there for a side gate quote, with photo and dimensions in drawing. The lady had no idea about the product and was not helpful at all. I go to other suppliers and do not suggest these guys.Is this kind of behavior with customers still exist ?

Went in and spoke with Lucas. Friendly and seemed helpful with ideas.That's the extent of his usefulness.Said he would send quotes. He didn't. Needed constant reminder calls to get anywhere with him.Finally arranged a quote, Lucas said they would have items in the following week and that he would get back to me.Never heard from him.Oxworks prices are pretty good, but I suggest you shop somewhere else if you actually want to get anywhere with your fencing.

They're cheap, that's about all that's going for the Bibra Lake store.The staff were difficult to work with on pretty much all fronts. I went in for a quote with a fully sketched layout and was told they'd get back to me in a day. After calling them 2 days later to chase the quote it was sent through to me and was completly wrong. 4 wrong attempts later (inlcuding one where I had to put the order list together myself and send it to them to send back to me as a quote - still wrong) we finally got there. Pickup was as difficult, called them to let them know I was coming the day before, turned up and nothing was packed, 2hrs later we started loading.I had to order another part to finish the job, again called to confirm it was in stock 24hrs prior. Called 3hrs prior to confirm it was at the warehouse. Confirmation received each time. Turned up to be told they didn't have the part and was given a different part, to add insult to injury the part provided was cheaper than the one I had paid for and I'm still chasing the refund.The warehouse staff were as helpful as they could be but highly recommend dealing with the Wangara store or going elsewhere.

Absolute joke, robot behind the counter was not interested in helping whatsoever, everything I needed help with was way too hard for him. I think I was interrupting him watching something on his phone, which he continued to play whilst trying to talk to him. Go ANYWHERE else you’ll be better off.

Was overall happy with the online help etc but unfortunately didn't check everything as it was all packed up when I went to pickup. Got it home to install and one of the tops of the gates has a squashed tube and on the end and no plug as it won't fit into the squashed part. You can see this has happened before powder coating because the coating isn't cracked, obviously mass produced in China hence the cheaper price. Clearly they smash them out and either didn't notice or don't care.Anyway, I straightened out and will have to find a plug as well as touch it up as good as possible.The people at the distribution centre were good and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they may not have seen the damage?

The service and friendliness of the office staff was wonderful!The bloke with the forklift and Dennis the delivery driver were equally as friendly, helpful and professional.Thanks guys. Would recommend you to anyone who asks.CheersTony Carvajal
