S Bend Caravan Park

Loved this spot, old facilities but lovely and clean. Great green grass to park, esp as we'd just returned from dry n Dusty. V quiet, safe and contained. Dogs no problems and we got in great walks each day. Nice lot of old buildings to look at locally, but beware of double gees in cemetery at Walkaway, dogs were not impressed after the cool, green lawn.

Lovely people work here. Very helpful. The facilities are older but very clean and tidy. We had a van and didn't have to unhook from our vehicle, which was really good as we were only staying one night. The park has fully grassed areas to park up on, which kept everything pretty clean underfoot. Price for the night was very reasonable.

Very lovely people Maxine and Gary and the groundsman and the people that live their beautiful Park lot of Greengrass and it's worth a look amazing place the camp for a week or two very clean and tidy and the management makes you feel welcome love the place

I had been past the S- Bend Caravan park a multitude of times ,(mostly driving trucks) Now retired and getting to see everything I used to pass when on a Deadline. We booked in here for 3 nights and we're planning to stay longer. This place is like a Hidden Gem". Everything about this park is clean and tidy. It is older but so well looked after. It is also very quiet. The staff are very friendly and nothing is a trouble to them. They have fuel and also have take away food at the shop There are beautiful green grass sites

Gary gave us the full valet service guiding us into a grassy green spot. The park was immaculate and the fuel the cheapest we found. A grest quiet spot with a mix of sites. Top up on drinking water first as it is limited. Highly recommended.

Friendly hosts Maxine and Gary (owner), although Miriam, whom I met on day two, could do with a personality transplant. Locked amenities, key provided. Park gates locked between 6 pm and 7 am. We opted for a self-contained site with no access to water, power, or amenities, at $5 PP PN. A bargain, although I can't report on the cleanliness etc of the amenities they were cleaned each day and someone told me they were spotless. We were on the lushest, greenest grass we've been on for I don't know how long. Basic camp kitchen in the middle of the park. We've only come across a handful of parks that allow self-contained at a bargain price. I am sure others will be out there and more will follow. If they had not offered this, we would have free-camped anyway, so they made $30 off us for the three days we stayed. A good location, halfway between Dongara and Geraldton. A few kms south of the worth-a-visit Greenough historical village. We booked 1 night and ended up staying 3. Cheap fuel at the attached small Puma roadhouse that serves takeaways at reasonable prices.

Stopped here for a night on the way back to Perth. What a great spot. Was able to drive through and stayed hooked up for a quick departure. Big site, greenest grass I've ever seen in a caravan park. And to top it off Gary the host is an absolute legend. Such a nice bloke! Will recommend to others and will definitely be back ourselves. New stop point in and out of Perth.

The S Bend Caravan Park is a wonderful place to stay. The site are spacious, the grass is lush and the staff are the friendliest people you will ever meet. We stayed over Easter Long Weekend and there was live music, fire pits and a good amount of people having a boogie. Access to the beach from the park is wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!
