Ararat Nails & Spa

Stopped here this arvo on my way to Geelong after reading the reviews, wanted to see how bad it really was. The facilities are quite dated, so it doesn't feel super modern but chairs are comfy. Asked for a simple manicure and plain polish as I wanted to remove after the weekend as it was only for a wedding tomorrow and I can't paint my nails myself.They only trimmed my nails and cleaned underneath, some were quite short anyway but no cuticle push back/trim so they don't look as nice as they could. Staff were talking in their language and kept mentioning about my choice of plain polish as they first couldn't find the tub of plain examples since no one uses them. The customer next to me asked them about it as she too just wanted a plain one instead of shellac, and the lady said no one uses them because they can get them themselves at the $2 shop so not worth it, and kept talking it down. Not really ideal when that's what I chose.Wasn't terrible, but I won't be stopping in again on my travels.

My sns nails are coming off after not even a week so unfortunately I won't be going back. Good customer service though which is a shame..

Poor customer service, both VERY rude while I was trying to make a booking, and very blunt and rude during the time I was in there... would not be back due to very bad customer service

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE SPENT 50$ ON A FULL SET THERE WERE BUMPS, DIRT UNDERNEATH MY NAILS THAT WASNT THERE BEFORE, AND 2 HAVE FALLEN OFF ALREADY I GOT THEM DONE MONDAY. IT IS FRIDAY. IT ALSO COMPLETELY RUINED MY NAIL BECAUSE THEY DIDNT FILE IT PROPERLY. WASTE OF MONEY

Cannot fault the service, quality of treaments, hygiene & how friendy the staff are but the decor needs some serious attention. The place looks it's falling apart.

Can not fault them. They were gentle and staff were lovely. I got a pedicure and love how they turned out!! Recommend to anyone wanting a decent pedi in Ararat!

I get my nails done fortnightly with the very friendly staff .Their very professional and have a great selection of products they also cater to young children for a nail and foot pamper.Very affordable and highly recommend.

only good thing about my nails is the colour. the sns is applied really thick and looks lumpy. you don't get to wash your hands so your fingers are covered in powder. wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Went in 2 weeks ago for SNS which the lady rushed even though I was the only person in the salon.A few nails are lumpy and not smooth at all, my nails are now lifting and falling off only after 2 weeks of having them done.I usually go to Ballarat to have them done so this was a first time at this salon, will not be going back for a second time.

RUSHED JOB! DON'T GO!Booked in for a manicure with SNS. As she began doing the SNS right away questioned why she wasn't filing the nail and prepping it as you expect in a mani. She took a total of 10 mins to complete. She just painted with SNS and that was it. And a terrible job of it. My nails were left uneven and the SNS paint stuck down my fingertips. Another girl came to get the paint off my skin when i said i want happy.Avoid this place!
