Hinterland pharmacy

Shopped here last night because they are an after hours chemist and it was passed 6pm. I purchased my generic prescription meds that I usually get at chemist warehouse, their own brand of cold and flu tablets and difflam sore throat spray.... $43 later. Couldn't believe it, they quite literally charge double for everything. Went back in there 2 minutes later and got a refund. I get you are open a little later for convenience but that's price gouging. Not ok. You are whats wrong with society, pure greed.

Arrived at 940pm and the lights were off and doors locked, however the chemist is meant to be open till 10pm? I frantically drove 22 minutes to make it in time for my sick little girl and the staff closed up shop early? Not good enough. Extremely disappointed. 45 min round trip for nothing. And a sick little girl at home with no relief which is the worst part.

I am disgusted by the way I was spoken to this evening by one of your more mature ladies working behind the counter. It was just before closing, and I unfortunately left my mask in my vehicle as I was rushing to get over the counter medicine for a family member. The light were turned off at 9.55 pm just after I rang the buzzer as the door were lock yet the sign was saying still open. Store closes at 10pm. I was allowed to enter, however When I entered I was rudely asked where was my mask. I said unfortunately I had left it in the vehicle as I was rushing cause i knew they were closing. I said I was more than happy to go out get it. I was not offered a mask. I am currently suffering from a respiratory condition which I informed the mature lady of which she was unimpressed and clearly through I was lying. I wear masks daily due to my line of work so have no issues with wearing a mask. When I was asked what I wanted I was told its over there for 1 of the items and the other they retrieved from behind the counter. I felt likeI was being question as to why I wanted the second product which I grab from the shelves myself. I have never had an issue when buying products from Hinterland Pharmacy. I have never been spoken to so abruptly by one of your staff before. I signed in as I was asked to with the QR code, I didn't even feel like I was given a chance to do this as the staff were so eager to get out of the store. I also felt Like I would not be served. I questioned this code as it was not the moron colour that the government is advertising every where as the correct QR Code. The more Mature staff member was not impressed that I had questioned her. Just trying to ensure I had the correct one. Everyone has been told to look for. It was an odd colour. There were no other customers in the store, just the staff member and the pharmacist of who was pleasant. I really hope that this mature staff member was having a bad day. Hoping my next visit will be a nicer more helpful one.

Omg, just went in to get Covid Supplies, 1 simple (not n95) standard 2c mask= $2.50 & $12.50 for 10?? You have got to be kidding me. You can get 10 better masks round the corner for the price of one. Online for less and the n95 type. People are dieing. Time to markup and time to be a part of society. Please choose the latter.

Not open until 10pm as advertised. Saturday 3/6/23 was closed on arrival at 9.35pm. Ring first to check. Besides that, usually good service.Pharmacy, please update your details to spare sick people the hassle.

We use this chemist when we need after hours service. Both times the pharmacists have been super friendly, especially the first time we came a few months ago, a female pharmacist who helped us with a prescription error for a necessary medication. The male pharmacist on tonight was helpful and friendly too. All the staff have great people skills. Please note they don't claim to be a discount or warehouse type pharmacy. Also it isn't a huge pharmacy, doesn't stock everything. If you don't like the price of something, don't buy it. I appreciate this place for what it is and for being open later. Thank you

Left Gold Coast Uni hospital with my very ill wife last Saturday night armed with 3 important prescriptions. Hospital staff assured us they would be open until 10.00pm, a check on their website confirmed this. We arrived there about 9.20 to find them locked up and gone home. Please fix your advertising.

Advertises on their building and Google that it's open til 10pm. Arrived at 9pm and it is closed. Never again. Surfers Paradise pharmacy here I come. It is open til midnight. This is the second time I've wasted my time to a closed pharmacy.

I needed to get on antibiotics last night for an infection. The lady phamarcist that was on went above and beyond to help me. She tried to retrieve an escript for me to no avail. She then reccomended a local dr i could see. I honestly feel i had the best customer service experience ever. After i got the script, i made sure to return to that pharmacy to repay her efforts. Thanks so much.

Tried calling at around 9:30 pm on Sat 03/06/23 to see if they had any infacol for a colicky baby. Call was placed on hold according the recording. Noting they say they’re open until 10pm and I’d been hold for 5 mins, I drove down and arrived at 9:40 - lights were off, doors/grills all shut. I can also see another review from someone who must have arrived and left shortly before me to a closed store as well as numerous other people advising they’re shut well before 10. Why bother advertising you close at 10, if you close well before then. Stop wasting customers time and fuel. Won’t bother coming to this chemist again. Absolutely useless.
