Autoco Smash Repairs Belconnen

This is my second review, a follow up review after my initial 1 star review (which I can no longer find on here).This is about 9 months after my car was broken into. I left a 1 star review after the initial repair job which I think was mostly due to poor communication between AAMI and AutoCo. Lots of things were missed, paintwork needed better prep and excess paint was left on my car.Since then I had dealt with AutoCo directly and arranged to get the car fixed properly again.They were quite good with regular communication about delays with parts from Germany for my model.When I got the car back from being re painted, the paint job this time was superb and they actually fixed every single thing on my original list including all the interior trim issues from the original break in.The car now finally feels back to original quality and thanks AutoCo for working with me to get it all sorted. Happy with the end result.

Happy with outcome - looks as good as new to me. Related to relatively minor damage to rear of vehicle. Arranged assessment then repair within a few days to a week of calling. Repair was one day late - but they gave me a day's notice so I was ok with this.

Easy to book in, ok communication, repairs finished ahead of schedule.Must admit I was slightly annoyed to have driven past and saw the car sitting unsecured (it had no door on it) in a carpark that isn’t owned by Autoco. I assume they don’t have someone watching the cars in the public carpark.Whilst I’m sure they move the cars into their yard at night it is slightly concerning during business hours unsecured cars are so freely accessible.

I went through my car insurer to repair the front of my car after hitting a kangaroo. The staff were great and it was a quick turnover between having my car inspected to repair. They cleaned my car really well and even ensured my vehicle was disinfected. Would highly recommend!

Excellent smash repair. I now have a new car!! Very happy. I was assured of their professionalism and confidence because they took time to talk and I liked that. They did miss a request to fix an Oh so minor dent but it doesn't matter because of the overall quality of work overshadows it. Very happy.

HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!Took the car in 6 times over 3 months for one part they should have ordered and installed the first time and they admitted they tried to do it another way and didn't get it right! To make matters worse I had to show them it wasn't complete and again they said they didn't do a final check before picking it up!!!

I sent some pictures of my car to the email address hoping to receive a quote for a repair job. Alf, the centre manager, was prompt and informative and gave me a free online quote. Lovely and friendly service.

At first, the didn't make good paint on my car, after they painted it, there is still a drop-shaped painted. I don't know how to paint a car but I have Exp on the painting wall. I have to say is not professional, this is a rookie mistake.The second, The said they replace a new door for me but I don't think so. I don't even know how they break the B-pillar paint. there was excellent without any damages when I dropped the car off !!!!!!!! This car only 7 month years old in low kilometres. It was pretty new !!!The third, The screw of the flare was still missing, they did not complete the repair of the flare.and they just find a ropey screw, the size does not even match when I ask it!Finally, The called me to pick my vehicle up without completion yesterday, I have to ask for leave and spend half a day on it, and I also have to pay for the Taxi for getting back by myself !!!!! Because the insurance only covers twice of Taxi. What a disappointing!
