Avalon Community Library
Light, airy, open space with a view to the sea - perfect for browsing the shelves and relaxed reading. There's always something fresh to borrow. It's a community library, set up by the Avalon community and staffed predominantly by helpful, local volunteers. Terrific resource.

Amazing community library, staffed predominantly by volunteers who are so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them.Great range of DVDs, magazines and audio books and there's even a streaming service called Kanopy! + many other e-resources so you can read on your phone or tablet!

Lovely community library with super helpful volunteers. Lots of powerpoints at the desks. Lovely breezy place to sit and study or read.UPDATE: this library is also very cold in winter. No heating and they have ceiling fans on and windows open even on the coldest days with no heating.

A very good library manned by a very helpful and friendly group of mostly ladies. Nothing is to much for these volunteers. A real asset for the peninsula.

What a great little community library. Wonderful volunteers and a really nice community atmosphere. They have a good selection of fiction and non-fiction, small reference section and great audio and DVDs. Right in the heart of Avalon so really convenient.

A very friendly place, the ladies on the desk are helpful and alway try to accommodate requests. I believe they're mostly volunteers, good on you all.
