Birth Beat

So so glad we attended the first aid course with Birth Beat! Edwina is engaging and easy to listen to. She made the day fun but also serious when needed...a perfect balance! Her knowledge is so valuable and I feel a sense of calm knowing that I now know what to with my baby if needed. 100% recommend!

My husband and I completed the online Birth Beat program and were very impressed with not only the ease of access and ability to pause, rewind and rewatch, but at also how professional and informative it was. We have just had our beautiful little baby a week ago and went into labour and the start parenthood knowing that we had some of the key foundation knowledge, as well as tips and tricks for labour (which were extremely helpful). I would highly recommend this program to everyone!

Just want to say thanks to Edwina and the Birth Beat team for creating such an accessible antenatal class. My husband and I loved the program. We loved how we were able to watch the videos at our own pace and then re watch it as a refresher. The videos were so informative that when it came to 'the birth day', I felt we were making informed decisions.Edwina, your warmth and empathy carries through your videos and even though it was all online, I still felt supported by you, so thank you!

The Birth Beat services have been so wonderful to use. Not only is the webpage user friendly but Edwina is an engaging presenter with a wealth of up to date knowledge that makes her easy to listen to.The videos have been super helpful for my husband and I as we transition into parent hood and we particularly like the curated videos and practical activities that go alongside the theoretical aspects of pregnancy and birth.At the end of each unit, you are also able to submit questions for Edwina to answer, it's great to actually be able to engage with the presenter and get your questions answered, particularly when you live rurally and access to healthcare isn't that easy.Another thing I really liked was that there are a lot of tips for the 'support' person that will be with you throughout the process, it really helps to connect everyone involved.Thanks Edwina for this awesome program!!! We can't wait to meet our little girl in July '21

We did the Birth Beat online first aid course and though it was great. It was great being able to do it in our own time and also watch the modules several times to really reinforce the learnings. Edwina has such a down-to-earth and easy to understand approach, which really suited us. Also love her Instagram page, which regularly has great tips. Highly recommend!

My husband and I purchased the child first aid course and it has been so helpful to be able to just do one module at a time together in the comfort of our own home, especially when we wouldn’t have found the time to do an in-person course otherwise. Edwinas teaching is clear and helpful and her stories are engaging. Her content is very accessible and she has helped me feel well equipped to care for my child if ever she is unwell or hurt.

A great way to learn first aid for your baby or child in the comfort of you home and at your own pace. The online 'moodle' like account and modules on different first aid emergencies are easy to access, navigate and study! Edwina is personable and easy to listen to and understand, with great physical directions so you can practice at home with a family member or partner. The best part in my opinion is that you can log in to your online learning account whenever needed, rather than doing a first aid course in one day and forgetting everything you learn 6 weeks later. I have recommended Birth Beat to may friends.

I can not recommend Edwina & the Birth Beat family highly enough for all things baby/child first aid (or for that matter general nurse advice!)Her course is informative, easy to follow, clear and concise. Edwina’s passion for what she does shines through in her delivery and messaging in a way that brings calm and positivity when discussing otherwise distressing topics.Not just highly beneficial for expectant parents but also a fantastic refresher for the whole family.Thank you for arming our family with valuable tips and tricks and the confidence to be able to adapt in a variety of sticky situations.Do yourself a favor and get onboard the Birth Beat train!

We did a full weekend of first aid and the Birth Beat courses (face to face), and it was amazing. Edwina is so passionate and makes you feel comfortable to ask all questions that you're busting to ask and need to know.She's an incredible facilitator and educator and provides live saving and practical information - you won't be bored!Both courses were interactive and fun and made us walk out instilled with confidence. My husband and I have loved the convenience of working through the Birth Beat content from the comfort of our home at our own pace! Edwina is so engaging and clear in her communication and has helpfully covered all possible birth scenarios making us feel prepared for any situation! Couldn't recommend the program more highly!
