Given the cost of the basic school photo pack I would expect to see a proper copy of the class photo not a copy printed onto folded cardboard.More money for less.

Absolutely atrocious! We waited over two months and am still waiting for them to give back the photos we paid for $48-50 just for a group photo. I sent them an email only for them to say “we trust you can understand and thank you for your patience” after saying “we are unable to complete your school’s production until after all photo days have been merged so all students photographed can be included”. Looking at the previous reviews, I will never buy my child’s photos from advanced life again” waste of time, waste of money.

Every year I grind my teeth over this company's disgusting price gouging practices. Irritates the hell out of me and, judging by the reviews, a lot of other parents too! SCHOOLS should keep this money in their COMMUNITY with LOCAL photographers. Opportunity lost year after year. It's a disgrace on both sides!

2023 photos are a disgrace. Also you’ve made the photos smaller than they usually are. You don’t answer your phone, or respond to emails.$125 for school photos is an absolute crime.Will never purchase school photos again, if you are the company they are using.

the photos paid for are not professional, or tidy facial pic taken, 5yr old with messay hair pic, but and I tried to contact them to no avail, no number, fill in the form and be ignored. School gave me a number when they came back to do more photos, they got the number off her, sent me a message, sent one back, waiting for action, message and call back, nothing, still couldn't contact, sibling photo taken but can't get one, communication not good. This company will not let you contact them and won't contact you either, not appropriate under business legislation accc.

For the money they charge, you'd think they could ask the kids to fix their collar or help smaller kids smooth down their hair. I'll get the class picture only next year if they even have it.

i am beyond disappointed with the services provided by this photographer. i cannot express how expeditiously cranky i am at the incompetence and unprofessionalism with them. from the beginning, it was clear that the photographer did not care about me or my needs as a client.firstly, the photographs were rushed, leaving us and the rest of the grades no time to prepare. once the photoshoots began, the photographer seemed completely disinterested and unenthusiastic about capturing any decent shots. they did not offer any creative direction or suggestions for poses or settings. their attitude was lacklustre, and this totally set me off, leaving me disappointed with the entire experience.the final product, which we received on our school id’s, was utterly terrible. the shots we’re poorly composed, with many being over or underexposed due to the photographer’s inexperience. they did not take any care with the editing process, resulting in images that looked like they were taken with a cheap phone camera.i would not recommend this photographer to any school. they are simply not worth the money, time, or frustration. please save yourselves the trouble and avoid hiring them for school photos at all costs!

Tried to order my son's 2023 school photos but the payment method, no matter which one I selected or what device or browser I used, was stuck on an infinite loading loop. We were advised there was nothing they could to do facilitate any other payment, and that no other parents from our school were having this problem. So for the people that DO have this problem, there's nothing that can be done? We tried to pay in advance, and now orders are closing and it still won't accept any of our payment methods (PayPal or card, both which work fine).We tried other computers, even asked relatives, everyone got stuck on the same loading screen as the payment form is not a secure link.It is extremely disappointing to think I may miss my son's school photos. I try everyday to get them ordered, and there is nothing helpful Advanced Life Photography have suggested to assist at all. Both me and my partner have called, and they do not help.I do hope the school will find an alternative photographer. Extremely discouraging experience.
