Thank you Charlie and Jack and his team for an incredible job. From the initial site visit, to the quote, to the installation, Penrith Solar have been amazing. Always professional, always friendly, and the site team were punctual, tidy and very professional in their work. I work in construction and expected some questionable safety practises and quality - I couldn't have been more wrong. The team was safe, efficient and the installation is first class.Thank you to everyone and as the sun shines, we are already enjoying the savings from our new solar panels.

Hana was my first point of contact with Penrith Solar Centre. Having many questions about installing solar and which system was best for my home, Hana put my mind at ease when she attended my house and was professional, extremely helpful and informative. A deposit was paid on Monday and I was told installation would occur on Wednesday (Tuesday was Anzac Day). On the day of installation, Blake and his team were punctual, courteous and happy to address my concerns. The solar panel installation was completed in one day. Blake provided an overview of the solar system which was clear and easy to understand. The whole process was seamless and I was very impressed with the customer service and professionalism displayed by the team at Penrith Solar Centre.

Had a 16KW system installed. The team did a fantastic job! Professional and courteous! Even the little details, switching out broken tiles for me, tidying up cable runs, just absolute pleasure to have them working on the home. They cleaned up the work area, leave no garbage, took away the 10 year old antenna, they looked after me!If you're reading this and considering Penrith Solar, call'em!I've done my homework and got a few quotes and I'm thrilled to have Penrith Solar install my system. We recently had our new home built and it was subject to many frustrating building/builder delays. Hana from Penrith Solar was very patient and understanding of the delays despite quoting us approx a year before they could install the solar.PSC prewired as much as they could before handover and had to wait till after handover to install our system. They honoured the original quotation amount despite the excessive building delays and their team ( Matt, Jack John and Kobe - sorry if I missed anyone) were very professional and efficient in installing the system. They also cleaned up after the install - a refreshing change from most subcontractors in the building industry.We must say Hana was outstanding in her pre sale support and is a huge asset to PSC, as were the installers on our job.Initially we had selected a Powerwall battery to be installed but we deleted this at the last minute. PSC rolled with that without fuss which was appreciated by us.After having a few days of solar production and consumption feedback via the Enphase app we saw very good solar production during the day (early May 23), but also that at night the grid supplied energy was costing us dollars, which overall we were trying to reduce, so we asked if we could add back the battery. The assumption was that a 13.5kW battery given it was charged could supply say at least 75% of its stored power during the night time hours and thus save us money via a reduction in costly grid charges.PSC honoured the original battery price, even reduced it slightly, and installed the battery within a day of us reordering it. (thanks Jake) That was also impressive.Thanks to Aaron, and his team Scott, Anthony and Max who did a good job completing that battery installation work).So, in terms of pre sales and installation experiences, we would give PSC a 9.5 out of 10.That said after a month to 6 weeks of solar panel energy production and battery set up we are disappointed in the battery configured system because it takes energy to operate the battery, and doesn't offer (to date) any worthwhile advantages over the system without a battery. In fact it cost us more than expected in that it hasn't really saved us much in energy bills. We would not recommend adding the battery as set up currently . It doesn't seem to charge up quickly, or more importantly retain a high level of charge for use in non solar production times. Perhaps this is due to the smaller window of sunshine in May/June and we can only hope that from August to Feb.March the solar energy being produced is significantly more kWs to charge the battery. PSC installed a 39 panel Maxeon 435W panel 16.99kW system all with individual enphase inverters and it seems we need another 25 to 50% more solar kW energy produced to charge up the battery to any significant level. That was/is surprising. We acknowledge that we do also have shade from sporadic tall trees around our home however the system consistently produced 25% more kW hours with the same trees (and sun) before the battery was installed ! (how does that work?)We feel PSC is an excellent company with high calibre personnel, who are all customer focused, and the enphase inverters and Maxeon panels are excellent products but they have been let down by the lacklustre performance of the (costly) Tesla battery which is very disappointing to us (to date).Hopefully it will get better over the coming summer months, and IF it does we will acknowledge that .

I found the team at Penrith Solar to be highly professional and always a pleasure to deal with. They explained everything so clearly right from the outset and then delivered on all that was promised. I’m very satisfied with the solar system they installed (especially the massive savings on my electricity bills!). I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Penrith Solar Centre (PSC) was recommended by a good friend who had recently had them install a 9.5kW system. He had chosen PSC out of four quotes and after his experience, couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Our experience mirrored this and as the pricing was in line with his I didn’t bother looking any further.Richard the PSC sales consultant was very responsive and I received a detailed proposal pending an in person site survey within hours of my first enquiry. I had done a lot of research on the Enphase and Trina products beforehand and the answers to my questions during the site visit demonstrated Richard’s knowledge of the system and components.We ended up booking the installation for the following week; the pre-installation package was detailed and informative and the install team arrived right on time. Jai and his boys were a well-oiled machine, very polite and didn’t mess around. Jai made sure we knew what to expect and his anticipated time frame for the short power outage and completion. I was particularly impressed after overhearing the team leader on the roof explaining to one of his junior members how he wanted things done, even down to all the cable ties pointing in the same direction. On completion, Jai clearly explained the system operation to us and everything was left clean and tidy - you would never know they had been there.We received the as installed documentation within days of completion, PSC arranged the meter changeover with our retailer and now that I’m able to monitor the system production, I find that we are consistently exceeding that predicted in the proposal. A big thumbs up.

The whole process was great. Peter was so helpful and patient, explaining the difference between the systems and answering my many questions. Blake and the entire installation team were very professional, lovely manners, and left the place spotless. They made a big job into a great experience, thank you Penrith Solar.The thank you gift was such a nice surprise.

From initial enquiry, to quote, installation and after-sales service - Penrith Solar has lived up to its gold-star reputation. Everything was truly seamless, no question too silly or no enquiry left unanswered. If I had my time again, I wouldn’t have wasted my time with anyone else and just gone straight to these guys.

I visited their stylish and purpose built premises and was given a tour - very impressed overall.Communication was excellent, keeping me informed of progress, right down to submissions to the relevant Service Providers and Solar Credit Rebate..
