That other review was a clear lie - I actually have used Barry's services for over 10 years and whilst not perfect (as any hosting company isnt) he is always available and always willing to help you out. Technical knowledge is good - but he could improve by communicating with customers before making server reliability changes as sometimes they effect the layout of the site. But when you call him he always helps fix it up with you.

My emails service was with Australianwebsites. My emails stopped functioning and I called Barry on the Monday. He swapped servers to try and get it working. No joy. That was the last I heard from him. I couldn't contact Barry for 5 days. Support tickets were ignored, telephone calls not responded to. Neither were multiple emails. Stuff happens, I'm aware, but his non-response cost my business both financially and reputationally.
