Venus Nails

So over priced, they don’t follow with what they display. I paid over $70 for my own nails, just shellac and was about the walk out and they than started chasing me for extra $10 when I had already settled the amount owing, just disgusting, over priced and rude service.

Nails looked great but after not even a week,the acrylic went crusty, they did not cut my nails and put to much glue, the polish also started peeling off as well. The lady who did my nail was quite rough and cut my skin. She kept telling me to relax and I was but she kept shaking my hand as well when telling me to relax My sister also went with me and the same thing happened to her.My friend came with us and got SNS and the nail tech left without any direction that she was finished or to wash her hands or anything, she also left without completing a top coat!Would not recommend.

Daughter asked price to have her tonails done with shellac. Quoted $25, so she agreed. After done they told her it was $45 as they did a pedicure. She is too shy to argue, but feels very stitched up. Be aware.

Decided to try out this salon on a Saturday, it was pretty busy and I was skeptical when one of the staff told me they had time for an acrylic set with shellac. I was tended to after 5-10 minutes of waiting and I was pleasantly surprised by the skill and efficiency of the staff. Super smooth acrylic application and tip shaping. Towards the end of my service, I wasn't given much direction to wash my hands or given any cuticle oil/hand lotion. Since this was missing I give this salon a 4/5 :) Super happy with how my nails turned out.

I’ve been a long time loyal client for years. I make a booking every fortnight in advance for the same time and I request the same nail technician. Not once had she ever been ready for my booking. I’m always waiting at least half an hour to forty five minutes late. However this last booking over an hour and no chance of getting in for at least another hour. This is not on this nail technician herself it’s the greedy management always sneaking in some one else. It’s all about the money with these Asian run businesses. That’s not a racist observation it’s an observation. Money has overrun client loyalty and professionalism. I walked out and am trying out a new salon in Camden. If you go to the trouble of booking ahead with a specific technician then have the decency to have that technician ready. Appalling and unprofessional.

Their service was really good and efficient. The lady that did my nails was very experienced and they have got reasonable prices !

I don't usually leave bad reviews but I went here the first time I ever got a manicure and they made two of my fingers bleed. I decided to give them another chance after over a year, my friend and I were waiting for more than 40 minutes, the shape was uneven, I asked for short almond and got more of an oval and one of my nails chipped the next day, the nail tech who did my nails was also quite rude and didn't give any direction or apply cuticle oil after, which left my cuticles dry. I would NOT recommend this place.

I arrived at 11:45am (needing to be out by 1pm - thought this was plenty time for just a pedicure), told to take a seat as there were plenty massage chairs available- again, reassuring me that I could be out by 1pm). I waited there without anything happening (no soaking no nothing) for about 25/30 until they finally put the foils on my toes to take my old shellac off. Then I waited another 25/30 until I had to say that I had to be out by 1pm- I was nice about it, said I’m sorry I have to be out by 1 I thought I’d be done but that’s okay if you can just do the shaping and don’t worry about the colour. I didn’t say anything earlier because I thought SURELY someone is going to come over any second now (I don’t usually have the guts to say anything). A lady does the quickest cuticle trim/cut/file and scrubs just my heels for 5 seconds each for a total of 15 minutes- didn’t even get colour and the nails aren’t the right shape and didn’t get the full pedicure experience- and they still insisted on me paying $40! ($5 shellac removal and $35 pedicure) even when I asked (which I find it hard to, I’m a people pleaser) if that was really the correct price because I don’t even have colour on. Yes, apparently it was the correct price.I cannot believe this- do not go here! To the business owner if you see this- please tell people realistic wait times and please do not overcharge when you definitely didn’t give us the full service. Ridiculous I’m sorry.I usually go to Sea Nails in the same centre - ALWAYS have a good experience there and recommend instead.

Made an appointment for 2:30 a few days ago, we went in, they sat me and my 3 friends down and started one of their nails. All was good I told them all I wanted was white tips so did my other friends. A full hour went buy and they still hadnt started my nails, other people I had been watching had all left and my mum was calling my to see if I was down yet. At 5:30 we left the nail parlour. I was so disappointed when I looked at my nails. They were crooked, no oils on them and my cuticles were dry and looked infected, paint all over my fingers and uneven texture, 0/10 experience and my friends can say the same.
