This shop is amazing, the range of items. The helpful staff. The manager was amazing and very friendly, just an amazing atmosphere from all the volunteers. Will definitely make the trip back up here to get bargains. Keep up the great work.

The Salvation Army Ulverstone Thrift Shop
I was left outraged yesterday at a shop volunteer. While I was looking at a cooking pot on the shelf marked with a $7 price tag a tall lady with long grey hair grabbed it and whisked it away into the staff room. I followed her to the counter to ask if the pot was still available for sale “No’ she said unapologetically. When I asked her if she was keeping it for herself she said “yes” and walked off to take her break. It was my understanding that volunteers usually limit their shopping to after-hours and not at the expense of their customers.

Very good op shop, better pricing than typical Salvos. Quite organised and comfortable to browse around. $1 clothes, many different items such as furniture and books.
