Greville Nails

Terrible service, argumentative and rude staff. The woman who was doing my manicure cut 3 of my fingers (drawing blood) and insisted it was my fault because I have “crooked fingers”. She refused to shape my nails properly and when I told her that she’d cut them too short, I was told “no they’re not too short, you’re wrong. They’re fine”. I provided a photo of what I wanted, for reference, and the woman barely glanced at it. I was extremely uncomfortable and told her I was unhappy (in a reasonable and non confrontational manner) I asked her to remove what she had done so far, as I did not feel that she could achieve the look I desired. She told me that I would have to pay full price because she’d already “finished” the job - no she had not, but I did not dispute this as I just wanted to get out of there before bursting into tears.also, she took a phone call while doing the job and did not pay attention to what she was doing .She covered my cuts in the chemical remover and when I said it hurt, she rolled her eyes. You would think that a discount or even an APOLOGY would be a reasonable expectation given the circumstances and INJURY.The “pedicure” - water was cold, the polish was applied very messily and has streaks, I requested for my toenails to be cut and shaped but (like the manicure) the job is uneven and crooked.$130 later, I’m left with sore toes, cut fingers and sore hands. I was told, upon leaving, that I would be offered a “discount” if I returned.I’m honestly not interested in a reply from this place - because I know it will be a “justification” like every other comment of theirs left on negative reviews. I’m posting this as a warning to others, I honestly don’t know how they have a 4 star rating. I’ve been to 3 star places with better service.

Very unpleasant experience.I was looking for a nail salon working with UV builder gel as I don´t want aceton or any other acids on my nails. I found Greville Nails and due to the good reviews… I went for my refill.The lady just put the Gel on like nail polish. When I told her I wanted them to be built up (that´s actually what it is called builder gel for) she replied, „No, we don´t do this here“. I told my concerns about the stability without modelling a stress point but she stuck to „That´s how we do it here. If you don´t like you go“, what I should have done by than even in the middle of the session.2 thing , I wanted chrome nails. I had chosen a rose gold colour. When she applied it to the first nail, it was a white blue colour. I said, “oh, this is not the colour I have chosen” but she alleged it was. I showed her again the totally different rose gold colour on the display but she insisted that´s the number, that´s the colour. So I chose another one. When she was finish it looked just like a glittering nail polish.Very disappointed with these not chrome flat flounder nails and 100,- $ shorter I left after 40 minutes the salon. Off course the nail she did new did break again after just a few days.Quite a bit scared I went to Venus Nails to have the broken one fixed. Surprise... they know how to work with UV Builder Gel and there chrome nails look like... chrome. See picture below.You always can have a bad day but this unprofessional work and unfriendliness is an absolutely No Go for me.P.S. Awesome place, and such an amazing service!

I've been going to Greville Nails for a few years now at least once a month for a pedicure and sns nails. Almost always has consistent service and when I'm ever concerned about my nails they correct straight away no questions asked. I highly recommend Greville Nails, they have a great team of workers who love to chat to their customers and thoughtfully always ask how we're going. Experience from other salons is not always the case where they just speak amongst themselves the whole time, but Greville nails always makes a point of making you feel welcome and providing best possible service.

Amazing customer service! I rang up and booked an appointment for that day to get gel manicure and pedicure. My nails are very thin due to other nail salons filing my nails down too much from SNS. Dianne was very accommodating and careful with my nails and applied gel to both hands and feet and they look amazing! They have a huge colour range and the customer service is 10 out of 10. Definitely the best in the area!

It was my first time here. I had an appointment but I had to wait 35 minutes before someone stated taking care of me. It was suppose to take 45 minutes but I stayed in the salon for 1h30.The colour wasn’t the same that I asked and the finishes were very poorly made. I had to finish cleaning" myself at home

Absolutely loved both times I have been for sns on my natural nails. They have been on time and kept my appointment times - in and out within an hour. Jenny is fantastic and you can book in for your next appointment at the ending of your current one! Loved it.

I went to this salon tonight for the first time.I have taken a photo of the colour I chose and what my nails actually look like. As you can see my fingers look irritated from how rough my technician was.During, I had moved to touch my phone (barely touched my phone the entire time)And she said “don’t move, do you want me to cut your skin?” And grabbed my phone and slammed it on the nail table so I could reach it better. People can have bad days at work, but even in my worst days I wouldn’t be that rude.After that I just looked down and waited for it to be over.I was meant to have eyebrow and eyelash tint but I just left after paying. I was really upset at my experience.Please know I don’t complain but I had to make this complaint.This SNS + tips cost me $75.…If the business is reading this- a refund of my $60 I prepaid on my bank card is what i find fair after this experience.ADDENDUM: after reading the response fromthe salon, this is completely untrue. And they have text me and offered to sort it out. I since took them up on the offer but they just don’t reply to my texts and are avoiding. I want a refund. I have dealt with a range of diverse cultures and communication types for my entire career and I can tell rudeness, this was being too rough & simply rude. this is a service that was poor. Please don’t use this salon!!!!!
