Update: They have really good pizza! Great happy hour cocktails and decent selection of beer on tap. Service was lovely, included a lot candle once it got dark to se the mood.Love this place, great place to stop when taking the dog for a walk. Coffee is always good, like the fact that you can get a beer after work too.

I really liked the vibe at this place. The staff were friendly and the food was really good. The French toast was a massive serving so I reckon, if you can, share it and also a savoury dish. Would go back. They seem to do some cool live music and other events here.

Awesome little gem inside Downer Village.Nothing fancy , but the atmosphere is quite and relax. The coffee was good as well!Definitely a good spot for catch up or lazy morning brekkie

Only one person making coffee on a busy Sunday on a long weekend. Only ordered one coffee to take away and 30 minutes had passed and still no coffee.Eventually went back in to tell them I didn't want it anymore and they ended up telling me it was 2 minutes away, which they clearly just rushed the order. So it likely would have taken longer had I not said anything.As someone myself who also works in hospitality, I have no clue what they were doing, but it was just a mess in there and made no sense.I'm sure the place is possibly good on other days, but as a first experience while I had a 2 year old who was having a melt down because we had to wait 30 minutes for one coffee. Had I known it would take 30 plus minutes for one coffee, I wouldn't have gone there at all.Again, I understand it's busy, but 30 minutes for one coffee is just way too long...

I usually only have morning coffee and toasty here. Currently being renovated and expanded into next shop. Should be finished soon. Nice quiet shopping centre, usually no probs parking. Good kids playground other side of adjoining park. Re night life and music I can't comment.

I love coming here. It’s got a great community atmosphere, incredible selection of interestingly-flavoured sweets (pictured is this lemony pistachio and zucchini cake) and v good veg/vegan options. As a bonus, you’re almost guaranteed to spot many dogs on the oval opposite. Also a beautiful spot for gigs, with a very healthy live music schedule!

On March 17, we went to see the drummer's superb performance. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very good, both male and female waiters are friendly and good-looking, the two bosses do it themselves, it is a very tasteful place.The beer was very good, the atmosphere was great and we all had positive experiences.

Great food, lots of vegan options, great attention to dietary requirements, fabulous cold brew. Lots of outdoor seating and very dog friendly and indoor configurations. Friendly staff and an awesome local vibe. Becomes a bar at night. No cash, card/electronic only.

Canberra, downerUpdate 26/2/23, bacon and egg roll here is definitely the real deal, maybe a tad over the top with bacon or is it just me? I prefer just 1 rasher at most. Egg was cooked to perfection. The plum cake is good as ever, not the mediocre cake that is doused in syrup. Village friendly feel and not your high end snoot.Located adjacent to parkland on the northside of city. Great coffee and cakes served here. Bacon cooked on the spot the way I like it, not like woodbark. Definitely worth the trouble seeking this place out
