Australia Post - Avondale Heights Post Office

The most arrogant & rude man ever. Extremely unhelpful & because, according to him, the Auspost website is misleading, will more than happily over charge you as he isn't up to date with the new parcel post rates.

Have you watched Kim’s convenience on Netflix ? Jim is basically a Kim. Don’t hate on the attitude he’s very practical and yes a little impatient, but look at the bright side, letters and packages get sent on time, most people on passport pictures look single chinned, and it’s the only local post office in the area, without him, you’d need to walk another 30 mins. 5 stars for that alone. Thanks Mr Jim.

The guy there is always rude to me. I believe his name is Jim. Whenever I walk in he gets angry at me and talks to me in a very rude tone of voice. I've never been rude to him or mistreated him in anyway. He needs to sort out his emotional issues. It seems that he has something against me personally. It's quite disappointing for me as I expect the staff/owner there to treat customers better. The wait to be served is often quite long also. Would not recommend to go there, as I always feel unwelcome there.

Went today and was served twice. Jim was incredibly rude and not at all helpful. Other woman on was lovely

Very silly man with grey moustache worked here and he was very bummed out and lazy. The other employees were just not as interested as he is and did not provide good customer service.

My father and I only come to visit this post office despite being very close to our own local post office. Jim and his staff are very kind, friendly, fast and professional in service. They treat my elderly father with respect. Also, when I post parcels from here, the items reach the recipients so quickly. Jim and his staff know what they are doing.

I always find the guy behind the counter very rude. Today was no exception when I went in to get my passport photos taken. I got told to put my chin up a bit. He then explained I had a double chin! So rude. Won't be going back after that.

The staff at this post office are extremely helpful and friendly, they are always happy to help and offer the best service they can. Thank you all for your excellent service and kindness to the community.

If I could give half a star, I would. The customer service here is absolutely terrible- the guy behind the counter is always so rude to me! I’ve only been there twice but both times I’ve been treated horribly. I asked for a new sticker over the original so I could write a new address on top. He nodded his head several times, and when he finished handling with my parcel, he didn’t give me a new sticker. I then again, asked for one and he said “you didn’t tell me?!” with a big sigh. It made me feel horrible, especially since I had been having a bad day beforehand. However I still managed to be polite- therefore having a ‘bad day’ is no excuse for atrocious customer service. I don’t understand why he is always in a bad mood! Please avoid coming here if you don’t want to be treated badly!PS. The woman, assuming his wife, is lovely though.
