Whilst visiting Phillip Island the museum sign attracted our attention. This is a must visit for all to see & understand the importance of those who served our country in the Vietnam war. There's so much to see with a great interaction video to explain all about what happened.

One of the best places to bring the children (especially)(and ourselves) to learn about some part of history, be appreciative and understand how privileged we are living in this country and in this era.

Such an awesome place. Thanks to Hans for talking to us! You feel that the people running this place deeply care about australias role in the Vietnam war. Tickets are 18$ for tourists and 12$ for veterans which is more then fairly priced. They also have a cafe which sells good looking cakes and coffee. Not the biggest museum, but its more over quality then quantity of the exhibits and storys there. Woud recommend to everyone that is in the Melbourne area.

Incredibly informative, history from the Australian perspective of the war - the biggest the Australian Army has participated in. I found the timeline interesting, and the 18min presentation details the start of the war. The kids had the handheld devices which scanned codes and it spoke more about what was on display. Volunteer shared his experiences which I’m so very grateful. A humbling experience we all enjoyed.

Phenomenal. The staff / volunteers were wonderful and extremely informative, the exhibits and displays are very detailed but still allowing all ages to understand.

If you're at Phillip Island and haven't been here, it's worth a treat. They have a gunship, APC and tank, a few other vehicles and infantry equipment to look at.Exhibits that talk about the grittier parts of the war, the reason for it (from both sides) and some of the more famous conflicts
