It was a very good choice starting my internship at Platinum Accounting. During my internship I gained a lot of experience and improved my practical skills as I was exposed to different areas of accounting.I would really recommend people who would like to get accounting experience to join this company's program.

Platinum accounting is a great place to get the first hand Australian accounting exposure. The staff there is so friendly and the internship they offer will certainly add more weight-age to your resume.

Sorry it has taken me so long to write a review for Platinum Accounting, but i have been so busy with work i haven't found time. Ironically I am only busy with work because of Platinum Accounting.I arrived in Perth from the UK with 8 years public practice accounting experience over there. I thought it would be simple to get a job here in Perth with my experience and qualifications - how wrong i was. Qualifications don't really count for much here because everybody else is qualified and, rightly or wrongly, experience in a foreign country is deemed irrelevant. This is the most important aspect. If you want an accounting job in Australia AN EMPLOYER WILL NOT TAKE A SECOND LOOK AT YOUR CV IF IT DOES NOT CONTAIN AUSTRALIAN EXPERIENCE!! Trust me. 150+ failed applications, 99% without so much as a reply - and absolutely 0 interviews. Before Platinum.The unique opportunity studying with Platinum offers you is invaluable. A chance to put some legitimate experience working with Australian programmes, Australian payroll, tax returns, a solid Australian reference, coupled with CV writing assiatance and interview technique training etc was the crucial turning point for my accountancy career here. Yes it costs, but my outlay has more than be repaid and i've only been working for 3 months. Plus i can guarantee if i'd looked at the cost, decided it was too risky an investment, and carried on blindly doing what i was doing, then i would still be banging my head against the same brick wall receiving no replies let alone any interviews.No experience - no job. Make it happen.And be warned, this is no walk in the park. Teresa is an excellent superior, clearly a talented accountant and she will not allow sub-standard practices to pass as ok. If you aren't in shape, she will knock you into shape.Who knows where i will end up now in Perth. Now i have my foot in the accountancy door, the opportunities seem so vast and exciting. Wherever i end up though, i will always be indebted to Platinum.

I would of like to be positive and was excited that my fiancé found these people but every time she tried for assistance they told her they were busy (that happened more than once) so one day I rang. The lady answered but there was interference like a chopping noice, I asked for her to try stop the interference as I couldn't understand her, eventually she did, I said I was asking on behalf of my fiancé and she told me she was busy and they ring me back in 30 mins, I told her I be busy then too, I was getting fed up of the excuses and they sounded very unprofessional. I tried to explain then she put the phone down on me. I found them unreliable and rude on the phone. I will not recommend as unprofessional means a let down to me and not to be trusted.

Platinum Accounting Perth branch provides excellent training and hands on exposure to local environment . The Junior Assistant Accountant , especially , Mr. Kenneth Yeoh and Mr. Rejo provided wonderful and helpful training to us. The branch manager Ms. Teresa Nguyen also a very nice person. She always attend to our queries promptly and professionally .

I just started my training so far it is good I hope it will help me to find a job very quickly.

Platinum Accounting is a great place to gain valuable hands on experience needed to kick start your career as an Accountant. For students who come from overseas or are struggling to find experience it really helps, as it has helped me. Ever since joining Platinum Accounting as an intern and having the skills acquired on my resume, I have had a competitive advantage and have been having a lot more success in attaining interviews.
