Rosewhite House BnB

We had group booking including young kids.We did this booking months back, we were so impressed with 2 kitchen, large kitchen (2 in photos) along with undercover BBQ area and great view from that BBQ area.It was very disappointing for us when host advise us that this BBQ under cover area is for their personal use and she advised there is another BBQ area, which was not under covered, and sensor light was turned off in middle of our dinner, which was very disappointing.Secondly, we put pop up tent on open space for kids to play as there was not enough large living area for all of us to sit and relax. As pop up tent obviously didn’t damaged any part of building of host, but still host did it like it.Thirdly and mainly, smoke alarm automatically turned in the very early morning 6:00, when everyone were in deep sleep and it was so stressful and panicking for all of us including kids as it was too loud for them when they were sleeping peacefully.Host gave reason for smoke alarm was that it was false alarm and sometime triggered by mosquitos ( if you keep doors open which allow insects and mosquito enter in the house which cause this false alarm).Overall house was good but I will not recommend anyone who is going with large group as it’s not enough space until and unless you rent out whole house including which host is using, please specifically ask host to which are of the house you will be getting to use. We were very disappointed with the price which we paid for house and facilities which we used. We were impressed with complimentary drinks and groceries which host provided. But overall was not satisfactory holiday.

Spotlessly tidy, wonderful views, very friendly and accomodating hosts. Lots of thoughtful touches such as the breakfast provisions and coffee vouchers. Peaceful location a short drive from Myrtleford. Excellent value.

If only there was a sixth star to rate these guys because five stars just isn’t enough! My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in December and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The owners are incredibly welcoming and super helpful for ideas on what to do around the area. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The views were incredible! We were supplied with beautiful options for breakfast every morning. I cannot rate this place highly enough. My partner and I will continue to come back here!

Absolutely amazing rooms with really nice views and lovely owners! Much nicer staying here than at a regular hotel/motel

I visited place on Easter it wasnt as expected as it shows in pictures while booking large BBQ area behind house but they didn't allow us to use as they staying there. Need to be more clear on advertising. Also they turned off lights while we was doing bbq so we didnt finished our dinner. We were large group as I mentioned already while booking that we had 4 families with childrens so obvious with noise but still they reviews us regarding noise and cleaning issues.First about noise as we were on holidays with children so obvious with noise untill 10pm . We never was noisy after 10pm.Second about cleaning as we did cleaning all place obviously not like professional cleaner and they charged cleaning fees so why they charge for cleaning?Its bad stay I have ever had.Can't recommend

We stayed in the downstairs room. The room was warm and comfortable. The hosts and views were incredible. Just one disappointment with a lack of hot water for a late evening shower.

Service according price was deceiving.Upon arriving at the place, looking around the place, we came to know 50% of advertised facilities like main big kitchen area, dishwasher, mail hall, back side BBQ and alfresco area, and many others WERE NOT FOR US, AS OWNER WAS LIVING THERE. SO WHY PUT THE PHOTOS IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO PROVIDE THOSE SERVICES. THATS CALLED CHEATING AND MISLEADING ADD.Turning off the lights at 9pm on easter Saturday night ? Also complaining about light dinner MUSIC on holidays ? Not professional at all. People are coming for relaxation not stress.Also charged for full service but fresh towels provided only once in 4 days stay ???And we were been told , to put up the tent for kids fun...... ???As a owner, running behind guest is not good HOST gesture. Our holiday stay was turn into stressful time at this place.Looks like owner was not happy with the price as seems like she was expecting more from us, during EASTER TIME, but we have booked months advance, not only that, we have paid extra CASH money.

We had a warm welcome and shown our accommodation. The room and kitchen facility was clean and well maintained. The scenery was beautiful and would recommend this accommodation for a relaxating holiday.

Absolutely loved our stay at Rosewhite House. Cindy was a welcoming and very helpful host. The rooms were clean and comfortable ( fabulous pillows!) And the views are sensational. The communal kitchen requires a bit of negotiating, but we met some interesting fellow guests. The location suited us fine - close to all sight seeing, yet private and peaceful. The autumn colours in the Valley were stunning. Thanks Cindy for making our stay so special.Janet and Lynne
