Fantastic service from a transmission expert. I had my ZF box serviced and a performance trans cooler installed in my FG XR6. During the job i was contacted to tell me of other failed parts they found during the service and given a reasonable quote to rectify the problems at the same time. I went ahead with the replacement of the failed parts. Very happy with the job that was done

Having purchased a second hand 200 series Landcruiser and not knowing the service history of the auto transmission, I decided for peace of mind to have the transmission serviced. Scott from sure shift automatics is amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and offers advice on any issues with transmission. It is easy to see his best intentions are for the customer and would never offer advice to benefit himself. I would always take any transmission problems to scott without hesitation. Came to Scott for a transmission fluid flush after shuddering coming from the torque converter and very happy with his work. Honest and humble guy with realistic prices and managed to squeeze us in just before Australia Day for an emergency fix even though he was booked out for months. Scott at Sure-Shift Automatics is the best! My Ve Commodore always had starting problems and my hubby even tried fitting a bigger battery thinking that would fix it but it didn't, very annoying. We even took it to Holden but they couldn't fix it. Then while I was driving to home visits for my job my car suddenly started dropping out of gear. It felt like it was getting stuck in the same gear and revving really hard. What a nightmare! We were recommended to go and see Scott at Sure Shift. He not only fixed my transmission so it drives perfectly but he also found that my car had a loose starter terminal and that's why it wouldn't start properly. Two major problems fixed in one visit. The man is a genius!! Thank you Scott, we couldn't recommend you more!

I have a 2017 Ford Ranger PX2 XLT and I had an auto trans cooler installed 12 months ago by another provider to support caravan towing and at the time the internal transmission thermostatic valve was not replaced. About 6 weeks ago I purchased a Scanguage 2 to monitor temps etc and just felt the temps were getting too high with a cooler and not fluctuating, just building. So did some research, another mechanic said Scott at Sure Shift knows Rangers and so ended up going to Scott at Sure Shift, explained everything and then he put his hand on the trans cooler which was 'stone cold' and he said that's not right - might be lukewarm sure after the 15min commute but not stone cold. He said it was common to install a bypass valve and he was as curious as me now about it all - so I said let's do it - service the trans and install the bypass valve. Upshot is, I tested the removed thermostatic valve in boiling water and it did not open at all, effectively seized closed. Scott showed me the fluid after just 12 mths, low kms, absolutely black. Best thing I did was find Scott and his curiosity to investigate the problem!

Scott and his wife are very friendly . Specialise in their craft . If you have a ve / vf commodore with an auto . You need to come see these guys .

Had a bad leak on my black V8 falcon ute scott got it sorted helpful and friendly. secretary lady was helpful and friendly aswell. I would recommend sure shift 10/10 . The bandit tribute ute is driving sweet once again thank you.
