Fitzroy Early Learning Centre

Amazing centre. Dedicated and passionate staff who have been incredibly supportive throughout the various lockdown measures.

Our daughter visited Fitzroy ELC in 2020/2021 during our year abroad. Despite the difficult time during the pandemic with the educaters wearing masks, they quickly managed to establish an empathetic relationship with her. It was a relive to know that while we were working, Mira had a good time there with a lot of painting, playing in the large sand pit and especially enjoying playing music with all of her new friends. We always felt that Mira was loved and people were enjoying having her there.

It's really nice to see a day care centre that is up with the times. The food menu reads like a hippy degustation with a wide variety of clean and healthy meals, teaching kids there is another way to look at food. The facilities are clean and very new. Educators are incredibly nice and easy to communicate with, with no request to hard. The best thing about this place (and mine and wife's favourite part of the day) is getting an email with photos of how our boy is going and what he's been up to. It's just really nice to see him having fun and enjoying a level of attention that would be hard to deliver all day every day. Recommend...

We love sending our son to Fitzroy ELC. Sherylyn and the team have been amazing from the very beginning (when it's very difficult to leave your child off) all the way through to him changing rooms and developing. Friendly and professional staff, great food options, and most important of all, fantastic communication. The team are very proactive with letting us know about his day and there are never any issues with us asking questions.

We have loved every minute of our time with Fitzroy ELC. The genuine care the staff have provided our daughter means we know she is in the best of hands.The level of professionalism balanced with down to earth support and care for each child makes this place such a wonderful environment. From the warm welcomes each day, to the regular family updates, to the nutritious food, Fitzroy ELC has it all.

My daughter has attended this daycare since she was 4 or 5 months old, she is now 18 months and we are sadly having to move on from here. From day one I loved this place as did my kid! The educators are engaged and communicative, the space is incredible with lots of activities and quiet spaces, the garden is superb as is the food it cultivates. The centre has great communication with parents from day to day stuff to announcements and overall news which I found extremely appeasing. The only difficulty I had was the change in staff recently, which I can only attribute to the burnout from COVID.I am so sad to have to move on from this facility and staff because of work relocation, my kid loved coming here every day and would leave smiling. I highly recommend checking it out and talking to the administrators. Thanks FELC, we'll miss you!

Our son has loved his time at Fitzroy ELC. He always has the biggest smile on his face when we pick him up at the end of the day so we know that he is being well cared for and enjoying his attendance at the centre. The educators are incredibly caring and approachable and the centre itself is always immaculate in presentation. They provide a great variety of food and there is a huge focus on sustainability and the environment which is great.

Fitzroy ELC was our daughter's first childcare and while she struggled with separation anxiety, Sheralyn and the educators worked really hard to make drop off easier for her which we really appreciated. We loved the thoughtful physical environment and the program (shout out to Rachel's gardening program and the weekly art sessions). The educators (Jing and team) were also great in planning interesting activities for the kids. Fausto, the chef, prepared delicious nutritious meals for the kids and my daughter loved being able to peek into the kitchen from her room. We will miss Fitzroy ELC.
