River to Rail Trail - The Sands Park
It's a great river walk, walking south from Woolworths is a good excercize with steps to test you if you jog. The other way the steps are a VERY big obstacle to jog up or walk down for that matter.

Nice place but don't expect any facilities. Looks like a nice loop trail for walks or bikes (maybe not in summer).

Fantastic spot and a great addition to Gympie. Use this trail head to head under the Heritage Victory Bridge and over through the Gold Fossicking Area. The other direction takes you directly along the Mary River and finishes at Kidd Bridge Park. There are step stairs towards Kidd Bridge. It's a well maintained walkway and some great views in either direction. Plenty of parking and heaps of grassed area at The Sands Park.
