Wynstan - Blinds Doors Shutters Awnings

Abysmal communication all around. I was initially told it would be about 8 weeks for the fly screen door to be ready and installed. It has now been more than 10 and there remains to be no date in sight. So, what has happened? First off, I had to be the one following up about check measures and when to expect installation. Second, when installation initially scheduled, the installer was 2.5 hours late after latest time given and I had also been the one to follow-up re: ETA. Then, the installer realised he did not have the brackets required to build out the frame and stated he had not been told that was a requirement of the job. Third, the installation was rescheduled after I again followed up after not hearing anything. Once the installers had built out the frame and went to attach the door, they realised the door is TOO SHORT. So it is then another '2-4 weeks'. After calling Wynstan Blackburn on multiple separate occasions who stated they would relay to Customer Service, it has now been a week and there remains to have been nil follow-up from this supposed Customer Service team. I suspect that by the time the door is installed, it will be too cold to be having the glass door open anyway.For a fly screen door that cost $1k (with a pet door), the service is beyond poor. Go elsewhere.

The worst experience we have ever been through with a business, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.Product - Our shutters ended up taking 9 months, 3 warranty replaced panels and the end result far from ideal with imperfections everywhere. Interesting how new clients were still advised a timeframe of up to 10 weeks… (other reviews clearly show this doesn’t seem to be met)Service - This made things worse. Promised call backs not delivered, no genuine support or empathy which seems to be the way management also operate. (We had no dealings with the showroom, this was all the head office)The only good thing here was the contracted installer and not having to deal with Wynstan any further.

Really happy with our new shutters, the service was great from the get go, our installer Nick was fabulous, worked with us to fit into our busy schedule to do our install would highly recommend wynstans

Great security doors. However, read the fine print, just after a year, our door lock was faulty and we couldn’t get into our front door. Conveniently it broke just after the 12 month warranty, so they charge you a $90 call out fee. Poor follow up service as far as I am concerned.

From the start. They didn’t provide what was requested. From day one the draw string locking mechanisms hardly worked and after 2 years the draw strings have started to break and Wynstan expect us to pay for the repair. If I wanted to purchase blinds that last a year I would have gone to Bunnings. FYI I purchased 12 blinds costing thousands.

Wynstan provided excellent service and a fantastic product. Ian, who installed our doors was especially impressive. He was flexible in accommodating our needs when establishing a time for installation, was efficient, and answered any questions we had.

Dale was our installer and i would like to say that he was excellent.he explained what he was doing and the finished job we are extremely pleased with. i would recommend both Wynston and the installer.

Darryl did a perfect job installing all plantation shutters and blinds at my house. Admire how professionally he conducted himself and worked around my time. Totally impressed with the quality of work.

Great service, very easy to deal with from measure to fitment, Nick was great to deal and very very happy product is amazing
