DTDC Australia - International Couriers

I was receiving an overseas shippment and was not too sure of the process. Contacted DTDC and was helped every step of the way. The person I dealt with (Mousumi C) was very pleasant and very understanding. She kept me informed at every step of the way and even checked in to let me know what the status was for the shippment. Highly recommend this company. They keep their promises, very reliant and great customer service. Great experience using this company.

I hired their services as they have an extensive network/branches in every state of India. Unaccompanied baggage (Approx 250 kgs) from Brisbane to Gujarat, India were sent through air freight and paid for door to door delivery. I am providing this review to guide others if they are relocating overseas.+ points: The sales team was quick with their quotes and organising pick up from Brisbane. Labels and paperwork were provided. The boxes were further packed into courier bags.- points: The Indian team and the Australian team were not on the same page with regard to documentation. Customs clearance and charges are customer's responsibility, which is fair. DTDC prefer Delhi airport, which is far from Gujarat. I had to request Mumbai or Ahmedabad airport for customs clearance. I was asked to provide notorised authority letter, which ultimately was not used (waste of 600 inr). Customs clearance was quick (correct documentation and no false declaration).Delivery times: lack of clarityIt took them 2 weeks to book the cargo from Sydney. Reason provided was busy schedules pre-covid. Initial timeline provided by DTDC was 7 days.After customs clearance in Mumbai, the goods didn't arrive at their destination (taking more than 7 days). Mumbai to the destination: only 285 kms.Tracking number was provided, the DTDC officials only respond to your follow ups at their convenience.Even though air freight, my cargo took nearly 21 days from the port of shipment to arrive. This is okay. As a client I would expect clear communication, quick resolution of the query and not a trail of emails.

They got the packages where I wanted quickly but there were some communication problems. Their website did not allow me to put in a proper ZIP Code for the United States. When I called them we got disconnected twice and they never followed up. I informed them when I wanted the packages are delivered for my international move. They set up a date five weeks before my actual move to the States and never expressly told me I would be hit with storage fees. Thankfully they now have, after some debate, taken care of the fees. It is, overall, very good service.Quick pointers: The amount of paperwork I had to do to move my boxes was significant. No help on packing or weighing. They tell you to wrap your boxes but they don’t tell you that security has to reopen them to check the contents even after you’ve taped them up.

I am extremely disappointed with DTDC Courier service. I opted for their express service and paid extra for it

I used their service for my parcel from Sydney to Kathmandu was incredibly affordable and reliable. The speed at which my package was delivered was impressive, and I was very satisfied with the reliability of the entire process. Overall, I had a great experience with this courier company and would highly recommend their services to others.

Highly recommend DTDC for all your shipping needs. It may not have all the bells and whistles of a freight company or something else in that area but they do their job right and safely deliver your loved goods into Australia. They are a good bunch of team.In regard to my experience - right from booking a pick up and receiving items DTDC have supplied timely updates and all the items arrived safely. The packing was intact and nothing broken or damaged.So if you read this review then why not try them too.

I got my parcel delivered within just 6 days from A village in India to my door step in Melbourne. We were not home, but my entry is secured, so they left the parcel at the door. Most other companies take it to their depot, which is a pain in the butt to collect. Overall great speedy service.

Parcel received dot on time, in perfect sealed condition. Regular prompt updates on the movement of the parcel too were really a great welcome move from DTDC.Appreciated. A definitely go to service for parcels... And this is my nth parcel, lost the count! Every single time great service, in time. Thanks

We couriered clothes to Australia from Vijayawada, received in 10 days. Hope for snacks also it will same time.They should provide better tracking experience. It’s the only issue I had.Overall, good service, can do better.
