Októberfest feast challenger here.Good start with the sausages, mulled vine some pretzels. It was a good warm up for the main pork knockle and beer. The skin was excellent as it cracked under my teeth. It was to good actually and thinking the meat will by dry if the skin is so good. I was wrong. The meat was succulent, juicy and tasty. Managed to finish the lot with the help of the German beer. The dish comes with mash and cabbage, but barely touch it as I was concentrating on the meat. Finished it off with the apple strudel which was ok.Great experience over all.A pro tip for the end. Take a livervurst home with you. Yammm.

31st may, table of 8. Phoned next day to lodge a complaint and received voice message, that you were on a mid year break. 3 people ordered premium steaks at $130 each. One of the premium steaks came out and was well done which was a surprise considering that on the menu it states all steaks will be cooked cooked at medium rare. When asked to return steak it was swapped over from premium to porterhouse. This steak came out as rare and the more u cut into it the more it came apparent it was blue. After returning that steak it was decided that nothing else was required. When the bill came not only did the waitress not offer any type of discount but was charged the full amount for the premium steak, not even charged for the considerably less priced porterhouse. The bill came in total to $1500 not a small sum. I have tried phoning a number of times without success. Unfortunately there is no other option than to post this complaint. Extremely disappointed. 8 people won't be returning or recommending Hansa Steak & Grill.

We absolutely adored our lunch here today! The staff were friendly and caring and welcoming and accomodating and the food was absolutely awesome. Felt like being welcomed in to a family. We will 100% be back!

A friend suggested here and said its a diamond in the rough and he wasnt wrong. The staff were attentive, the food was delicious, the prices are good and we all enjoyed a great evening.The rough really only refers to the location we just didn't expect such a good meal away from the usual locations.Make sure you leave room for dessert.

This has been the best meal of my life. My partner and I both got the ribeye and various sides. The beer and cocktails were great and the service was unfathomably homely. Haven't had a better experience and I couldn't recommend them enough. Definitely a must-try if you want to treat somebody special.

We really enjoyed Hansa's. Been living in the area for years but hadn't tried the place even though friends had recommended it. Both steak and Fish was superb and cooked to our liking (requested Med/Well Eye fillet)- wine and side dishes also to our liking. Car parking is mainly on the street with a few spots outside. My only recommendation was that the heater could of been on to warm the place up a little. Left my coat on. Staff most pleasant. Will be back.

Highly recommend booking a table online via their website, as this place is a full house from Friday to Sunday. Doesn’t look much from the outside, but warms up on the inside and it’s all about the food and customer service here.Huge shoutout to the Maître D, she works the floor with grace and presence. Takes time out in between to check on each table for a small chit chat.The steaks are of high quality and the chef cooks to perfection. I had the rib eye and couldn’t have been more happy.I can confidently say that this steakhouse can matchup with any establishment in the city. A gem in the suburbs.

One of Melbourne’s hidden gems and best steakhouses. Amazing service, quality food that is as good as some of the top restaurants. You wouldn’t know this place exists until you know about it. Photos I posted don’t do it justice.
