Clifton Hill Pharmacy

For the first time in my life I’ve been driven to write a review, I am so frustrated! I came in because I needed help getting my overseas (UK) vaccinations put onto my Medicare record. I called ahead and was told this was possible and bought all the necessary paperwork. On arrival, the pharmacist told me that this “wasn’t within the scope of their work” and refused to help. When I questioned why, I got unsympathetic answers and no support. This is despite the government website stating that any registered vaccine provider can carry out this work, and being told over the phone that it was possible. I went to a different pharmacy and they went out of their way to help. They told me that some pharmacies don’t like to help because it is time consuming and fiddly to do. This whole experience was disappointing. This is a basic service which is important and in the public interest, even if it’s time consuming to provide.

I've been coming to this Pharmacy for many many years and the Pharmacist and Staff are always helpful and friendly.During Covid last year they were very busy and still their service and politeness never changed.Nice friendly Community Pharmacy that treats everyone with respect no matter who you are or what problems you have.Many thanks to Clifton Hill Pharmacy

I live locally & have used this pharmacy regularly. Unfortunately the interaction I had with Cassie the pharmacist on duty today was very disappointing. Her manner was abrupt, condescending & lacked professionalism. I would recommend she undertake training in understanding the customer experience to improve her skills so that an appropriate level of service is reached by this pharmacy.

Pathetic pharmacy, spreading propaganda from the pharmacy guild for self serving purposes.Making the community afraid they are going to run out of medicine when there is no evidence of such a thing.Make it harder and more expensive to get medicine all so the OWNER can generate more profit.Disgraceful, will never return. I would rather support corporate pharmacies than this greedy pharmacy.

Efficient pharmacy servicing Clifton Hill. I've found one of the pharmacist to be less helpful than I would have expected.Stocks can be low on some medications and I found the pharmacy unhelpful in getting this medicine in.

After struggling to find a covid vaccine provider I was able to take in my father who was quite hesitant. Not only did they welcome us in, but they took extra care of my dad to make sure he was comfortable and feeling ok. He also commented on how great his experience was and that he was happy to go back see them again for any boosters. Thank you Clifton hill pharmacy! You have such caring attentive staff and have created a safe and inclusive space especially for those who are elderly and not fluent in English. We will definitely be back.

Great pharmacy, I’ve been going here for more than a decade and always found staff to be helpful, informed and efficient. It’s important to me we support our local community pharmacy which is an important contributor to the local economy in Clifton Hill. If we don’t support small businesses such as Clifton Hill Pharmacy we’ll be drowning in an impersonal and disinterested ruthless franchiser and I don’t think that’s the best outcome for customers and patients who come to know and rely on their local pharmacy

I am an elderly Citizen and a local who always used this pharmacy,the Trading hours say it opens at 9am which means you must be ready to trade at 9am but unfortunately it never is open on time,by the the time they arrive is always at 9.10am and by the time they open the store and switch on their system etc it is almost 9.15-9.20am before they are ready to serve customers which is very unprofessional and is a big inconvenience for elderly sick people,on top of that they are very very overpriced and you never even get a smile from the pharmacist and even rude at times,unfortunately the good old days are gone where you felt welcomed by your local traders,we have become just a number.The place has become depressing,from now on i will never step foot in this bad vibed pharmacy and will drive a further few minutes to a Chemist Warehouse where your greeted with a smile and also helpful and very cheap compared to Advantage pharmacy,I didn’t realise how much cheaper Chemist warehouse was untill I started going there,saving heaps of dollars now.You all need some serious training in customer service otherwise people will stop using your very poor and unprofessional pharmacy!! I also think you have a few shills that are giving you good reviews,Smiles don’t cost nothing and can bring joy to Sick people’s lives. Goodbye and good riddance,you will never get mine or my family’s money ever again!!-Very Disgruntled ex long time customer-

Shame on you for spreading the scaremongering and threats about the prescription medications changes - not because of any real impact on patients- but to your bottom line. Only your bottom line. You are alarming those most vulnerable for absolutely no reason.Fake news spread by the local chemist.No wonder i stopped using them many years ago
